You’ll visit 3 of the Amalfi coast’s star attractions: Positano, Amalfi and Ravello.
First up you'll reach Positano, the vertical town unique for its colorful houses that plunge into the sea. You can enjoy your free time walking through the streets full of craft shops.
Afterwards you will reach the sunny town of Amalfi. You can dive in its crystal clear sea and visit the imposing cathedral of Sant'Andrea, the architectural masterpiece that dominates the historic center of the town.
Last but not least, Ravello, the charming panoramic town, from which you will have the most beautiful views of the entire Amalfi Coast. You can visit its gems, Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone, admiring its gardens and charming terraces overlooking the sea.
Your driver will be the narrator of your journey to discover this corner of paradise surrounded by fragrant lemon trees and beautiful majolica domes that carry the dominant colors of the coast of Amalfi.

The van that picked us up was the most uncomfortable van we have ever been in. The seats were small and hard as rock. On a 8 hour trip, it got pretty difficult. The driver, Cesare, was nice but wasn’t a good communicator (had a hard time understanding English). He took us to a lemon candy and liquor factory out of no where along the way to Amalfi. Felt like he had a deal with the place to bring tourists for commission. That was weird.
The overall trip was ok but would have been much better if we had a more communicative driver who understood our needs and a normal, comfortable vehicle.

Our trip led by Mario was absolutely amazing!! From the time we stepped into the van, our family of 4, with 2 teenagers was given a fabulous recounting of historical and current events relevant to each landmark we drove by. Mario provided such wonderful passion and enthusiasm for the tour!! For each stop we took we were given ample time to walk around and explore the stunning views. And our lunch was the best we’ve had on our Italy trip!! Thank you so much to Mario for an amazing journey!!

We really enjoyed our tour with Giovanni from Di Sarno Car Service. We had already visited Naples during a previous cruise so we wanted to do something different and this tour did not disappoint. I recommend this tour for anyone wanting to see the Almafi Coast. The beauty you see in pictures is nothing compared to seeing it in person.
A few things to highlight:
1) you are really just hiring a driver to transport you between towns (you do not want to drive yourself), not receiving a guided tour in each area;
2) the roads are narrow and extremely curvy which could be problematic for those prone to motion sickness;
3) this was a full day tour, but you spend 50% of the time in the car driving between locations or to/from the port.
These are not complaints, but things you should be aware of for planning purposes. Book this tour!

Gianluca was a terrific driver for our family of 4. We skipped Positano to have more time at Amalfi and Ravello. Gianluca gave us direction and recommendations at each stop and was flexible around our schedule. Great driver on difficult roads and very personable. We’d definitely book again to visit other towns.

We had a wonderful time touring Amalfi and Ravello, and instead of touring Pompeii due to roads being closed they had a boat tour we were able to do without extra cost as an alternative. It was awesome. Our tour guide Manfredi deserves 5 stars!

It was a beautiful trip. We saw some amazing places. Luigi gave us a nice surprise by organizing a boat trip to Amalfi. Pasquale was always very punctual and drove very well. What can I say about Luigi, who was very nice and the cuoppo he made us eat was fantastic. He gave us lots of gastronomic advice for Naples and also which places to visit. Thanks Luigi
