Diving in a cenote is like floating in another universe. It’s like evolving on a turquoise planet full of sacred history. The cathedral like stalactites and stalagmites that dive deep in the clear, crystal waters are like masterpieces!
Cenote diving is accessible starting with
level 1 or Open Water.
You will dive in caverns with all the specific diving material provided(lights, 5 mm wetsuits...) Tours are given respecting the highest levels of security with ample space, always close to one of the exits and numerous air holes. You will have permanent visual contact with natural light. A show and emotions are guaranteed!
Depending on the cenotes visited, you can observe millions of limestone formations, fossils, prehistoric bone formations, native animal species and the halocline. One of the best diving tours in the world…exclusively in Tulum with La Calypso.

My husband and I had a fantastic time diving with Alex and Martino last weekend! We did the two-tank Dos Ojos dive and liked it so much we signed up for two dives at another location Kukulkán the following day. The team were super fun, professional and made sure we visited different sites that were unaffected by the unseasonal deluge of rain that was pounding the area. We are open water certified and appreciated the detailed briefing, emphasis on safety, and individual attention from the DMs (not to mention good condition of rental gear). We knew we were in good hands! Booking was easy and fast over WhatsApp and we even got some great local restaurant recs. It was a blast! I would say this is a once in a lifetime experience, but we’re already talking about coming back!! Thanks again to the team, hope to see you all soon!

First ever Cenote dives. Did the Bat Cave and Barbie line with Martino. He is very competent, explained me all about it and briefed me how to dive in this, for me new environment. Grazie Martino.
Also booking system was easy, can only recommend Calypso Dive centre.

We had a great day with Alex! He organized everything we needed. Due to our sons age we couldn’t dive the cavern and so we did one dive together in casa Cenote and our son snorkeled while we dived dos Ojos.

Great diving with Mariano at Dos Ojos!
Tulum is over-run and over priced, our diving experience with Mariano was by far the best part of our brief stay in Tulum!

This was one of the best dives we have ever done. My husband says it’s his top dive. The company was very helpful and had all the right equipment and the dive masters were so knowledgeable. They provide expert service and went out of their way to make our experience memorable. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again. Cenote diving is so unique and I’m very grateful we went with La Calypso rather than other companies.

Excellent experience. I dove with Gisela at Dos Ojos. She was very professional and a great tour guide. Dos ojos was awesome, what a unique experience. Emerging into the bat cave was the highlight. I recommend this dive for somewhat experienced divers.

We did 2 days of diving with La Calypso, the first day we did Casa cenote and Car Wash, the second day we did the two dives at Dos Ojas. I highly recommend all of these locations, great variety and incredible dives which are suitable for all divers. Our group size was only 3 both days so everyone was well taken care of and given personal attention. The equipment was in great shape and none of it was outdated, so that also gives confidence in the professionalism of a dive shop. I loved that their pricing was inclusive of all equipment.
We went with Alex the first day and I think that was immensely helpful for my husband who was a little nervous about diving in the confined space. Alex is very passionate about the cenotes and diver safety / responsibility so he gave us a detailed pre-dive briefing which set our minds at ease and we were able to relax and enjoy the dives, including getting pretty close to the resident crocodile at casa cenote.
We've done a lot of dives around the world, and these cenotes are definitely one of our favorite experiences underwater. Thanks La Calypso!
