1. Viu Manent
One of the country’s most famous wine regions, the Colchagua Valley, set in the heart of the Central Valley, 100 miles from Santiago, is the epicenter of wine production in Chile. Production started here shortly after the Spanish conquest in the mid-16th century with the introduction of vineyards by Jesuit missionaries. The mining boom of the late 19th century brought wealth and noble grapes of French origin. The area is known for its award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Merlot, Syrah and Carmenere. After a three-hour drive in a private vehicle to Santa Cruz, the region’s capital, we first stop at Viu Manent Vineyard, a model for wine tourism in Chile. Climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage for a remarkable experience visiting the historic Malbec Hall, and gardens. Explore the wine shop and handicraft emporium. The visit ends with a tasting of the vineyard’s best wines. Internationally renowned for the quality of its wines, Viu Manent is particularly famous for its Malbec.

3. Vina Montes
In the afternoon, we will visit Montes Vineyard, voted #1 winery in South America. With the release of the first Montes Alpha wine in 1988, Montes became the first premium winery of Chile. The premise, a clear belief that Chile had an untapped potential as a producer of quality wines, made them a benchmark for other wineries to follow. Its original four partners’ total involvement and the continuous help of the Angels that decorate their labels was key to their success. Two decades later, Montes is one of the most important wineries of Chile were Aurelio Montes continues leading the winemaking area with the same passion as the day he started. Walk through their beautiful vineyards with a great view of the Valley. Tour the mystical winery where the Premium and Ultra Premium wines are made: Montes Alpha M, Montes Folly, Purple Angel and Montes Alpha. Visit the Barrel Room, where their best wines rest and mature accompanied by Gregorian Chants.

• Alternative vineyards will be visited if either Montes or Viu Manent do not have availability on the date selected.

World Health Organization’s Guidelines to Restart Tourism (25 May 2020). You will be the only guests in the tour van. We also provide hand sanitizer and masks are available for all guests.

This was our third tour with Chile Dream Tours, and I highly recommend them. Today our guide was Sean. We visited Santa Cruz and Viu Manent wineries. We had wonderful tours at each place. The views from the top of Cerro Chamán (Shaman Hill) were spectacular. Viu Manet had the most wonderful parking lot - an arbour of table grapes with stalls underneath. It was amazing - park and eat grapes! All in all a great day.

Amazing trip! The guide, Sean, was nice and knowledgeable, the car was comfortable, with working seatbelts. We had a wonderful day, full of wine and breathtaking views. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone who enjoys wine tasting.

Colchagua Valley wine tours were simply amazing. Our guide Sean was nothing but professional and helped us with every need in our journey.
Santa Cruz winery offers an enjoyable cable car ride over the vineyards which transports visitors to a hilltop to tour housing representations of the Mapuche, Aymará, and Rapa Nui indigenous groups in Chile.
The vineyards are charming with llamas, and a faux Moai (Easter Island) statue.
Llamas were simply adorable- they love cuddling, and treating you like you’re just one of them- incredible 😍🥰
Viu Manent Winery.
Horse-drawn carriage, lots of details about history of the winery, types of soils, and their wine production step by step.
Best of all was tasting- we had plenty of time to enjoy our wines, and discuss all the characteristics of them;) Recommended!🤩

Chile Dream Tours provides a good option among the different Colchagua Valley tours offered on-line. We had a private tour, for me and my american guests. As a chilean I was surprised by Sean's knowledge of Chile and its atractions. He provided a well thought selection of vineyards and flexible options for lunch. He was friendly and even took photos of us that then sent after the trip ended!

It is a very good option if you are looking for a reliable service and a personalized tour in English.

I would trust them for future tours 100%
