My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Salt Mine. The sheer size of it is amazing; apparently, we walked about 2km underground, which is only less than 1% of the total tunnels. We also had to walk down some 800 stairs, so this is not a trip suitable for those with mobility challenges. Luckily there was a lift to take us back up to the surface.
A major part of the attraction are the sculptures, all carved from salt by the miners, which decorate almost every cavern.
Our driver was very helpful, holding a place in the queue for us, while we visited the toilets before we entered, and picking us up very quickly, once we were finished.
As Brits, we naturally chose the tour in English, but we noticed that they offered a wide range of languages (Polish, Spanish, Italian, French, German).
This tour does not take all day, but due to the time required and the distances to be walked, I would recommend that you do not try to do another major tour on the same day.

Our tour guide Bartek was brilliant from start to finish!
He went above and beyond for us on our tour.
Everything was well organised we received the pick up information the night before the trip with all the details required.
Bartek explained the tour from start to finish, he was very polite and informative.
Our tour guide for the salt mines was lovely very good a waiting for everyone and didn’t rush us round for the tour.
All in all a great trip from start to finish! Definitely worth a visit

Great from start to finish, driver Matt was polite and friendly. Clear instructions on where to meet after the tour round the salt mines. Offered to drop us in town after if we wanted but was happy to take us back to our hotels. The guide in the museum was friendly, funny and spoke great english and knew his stuff. Didn't feel rushed at all. Was plenty of time to stop and catch your breath. Salt mines are stunning. Would reccomend to all. It is a lot of walking

The guide was honestly very poor. His English was very bad and he wasn’t very informative at all. He didn’t seem bothered.

Was a very good place to visit. The guide was very informative. It’s amazing how this place was made the sculptures were amazing. A lot of walking so defo don’t go if you have mobility problems.
