Okay, this has to be one of the most exciting, eye opening, majestic, and jaw dropping experiences I have had with a Sunrise excursion.
I have done Maui and Costa Rico just to name a couple everyone has an idea of where they are.
Not only do you hike up to the vantage point, you get a real local breakfast while you wait. Then afterwards you now get to hike around the crater and visit the steam vents. It is over 5 miles of hiking, at an easy pace with plenty of places to get refreshments from the local people so don't think you need to bring survival gear or a hydration pack.
Our guide was outstanding and was a wealth of knowledge about the mountain.
It's also the GRANDEST place to propose, since that is what I did and I really caught everyone off guard and scored points with my lovely lady.
You are going to have the time of your life on this excursion, no doubts about it.
Yes, Yes, I know 2 am is early to start an excursion but you just flew into paradise, so don't you owe it to yourself to see how Heaven opens up to Bali.
