1) the add says limousine; and it is actually a bus
2) overbooking; there wasn’t a table for me and my family equivalent to the table everybody else had
3) Halong Bay as an itinerary is close to its physical limits: the amount of people in the cave, in the stairs to climb to the Belvedere and in the beach is beyond what is safe for all; I have the impression a tragedy might unfortunately happen in the months / year to come, considering how crowded these places have been. Vietnam authorities should impose limits - even at the expense of increasing prices
4) to charge for a water, in a hit and humid area, is another questionable aspect of the tour
I did visit Halong Bay in 2017 with my wife and was amazed. This visit in 2024 with my wife and daughters was extremely disappointing, and made me leave with the conviction that I will never return to Vietnam again in my life

Peter took us on an amazing tour of Ha Long Bay. He did a great job in keeping things lively and explaining the many landmarks on the way. The tour was very organized and entertaining. I also appreciated the brief lesson on Vietnamese history along the way. Would definitely recommend taking this tour with Peter.

I have been on other tours and some are not as good and the guides aren't very informative. However, I had an excellent tour and it is all thanks to Peter (very sorry I can't remember his real name). Overall, it was a very amazing tour, definitely go with the speed boat option, it's a bit more expensive but definitely go for it. Peter (I forgot his real name) is a wonderful host. If you could, I would request him. He makes sure you won't get ripped off and he tells you where it's a decent deal to buy souvenirs. When I return I will be doing the same tour and hopefully with Peter.

The bay is good for pictures, it is very scenic. The buffet provided on board was good enough for the whole day.

Went on a day cruise with Arcady. Peter, our tour guide was super knowledgeable, nice, and friendly. Cruise food was good - what you would expect. Excellent range of water activities to choose from - kayaking, going on a bamboo or speedboat, etc. Also had enough time to either hike or swim at the beach.

Speed boat ride at halong bay was fun and it was a great experience. Peter is the best tour guide ever, taking care and looking out for all of us. He is knowledgeable and shares alot of things with us. Five star treatment. Bus ride and cruise ride was luxurious too. Perfect.
