This tour gives you the opportunity to explore the real side of Crete away from resorts, walk through narrow streets in the old traditional villages, visit an olive oil factory where we learn all about olive oil , explore Cave of Zeus, drive around Lasithii Plateau up to an altitude around 900 m above sea level, visit the old wind mills, and of course we will enjoy a Cretan traditional lunch at a family restaurant up on the mountain , ( Lunch is OPTIONAL)

I can’t even begin to describe how amazing this tour was, all with thanks to our extremely knowledgeable guide Mike and his partner Ed. It felt like we were spending the day with old friends who welcome us to their beautiful island with open arms. Every moment was perfect, the pickup on time, the temp in the van, the extra care Mike took stop so my kids could take a closer look at the adorable goats to offering his own jacket to one of the people on the tour who was cold to his extensive knowledge and obvious love for the nature that surrounded us. Everything was done with love and I can say without a doubt this was the BEST daytour I have even been on, and I have been on many from Marrakech to London and Paris and everywhere in between. Mike even took us to a destination that was NOT part of the tour, just so we could see more of his stuffing island.
