I booked the tour last minute , Mahmoud was very friendly and make sure that everything is good before traveling to Alxandaria. Our guide Hamda was very professional and made sure we are comfortable during the trip.
Finally we met our guide Wessam she is do kind , knowledgeable and friendly.
We booked the tour with option the food tour.
Our operator Yoma asked us if we prefer sea food or local Alxandarian food , we chose the local one and we didn't regret anymore.
We tried the falafel , Shawarma and Koshary and for desert rice with milk was very testy Infront of Cournih.
If you didn't visit Alxandaria with this company you definitely missed alot of fun!
I definitely will come again with my mom next year.

An absolute rip off. This is not a food tour, the women that was our guide (Marwa) took us to a restaurant where we weren’t given even 1 option, they just bring us a plate that was cold, full fish (with head and all) fried calamari cold, we needed to pay for the drink we had (a juice) the lunch was rushed. She didn’t let the driver stop in one of the spots we were supposed to visit, run personal errands while we were on tour and took us to a “papirus institute” that wasn’t an institute but just a store that sold papirus many times more expensive than other places around Cairo (over $100 for a papirus you can buy for $10) After that I told her I wasn’t going to buy anything and then she rushed us the rest of the time. Sat next to us looking mad, while we eat that terrible plate of food. The price is not worth it, is not a food tour, (tour for us is something where you get options and they show you various foods from a place) you are better taking the ones that are $40 and you choose what and were do you want to eat. Was the only bad experience we had in Egypt. Do not buy this tour you will regret it.

What an amazing experience. ! The tour is very interesting and we could not have a better guide than Aref Bakr. We started from Cairo and in less than 3 hours we were in Alexandria and the magic begun with Catacombs. After we vidited Pompey's Pillar & Qaitbay fortress with amazing views. We had a delicious fish meal by the sea. Aref is very knowledgeable and he did his best to meet and exceed our expectations and to keep us happy. I recommend this excursion with Aref. We created memories for a lifetime. Thank you

The day trip to Alexandria was very relaxing. We visited the old Town and the beach. The tombs and the fortress!!! Our quide Aref was very helpful and polite. I recommended this trip with a private transfer and a good guide as Aref.

We booked the day trip to Alexandria from Cairo and we are very pleased with our experience. Our guide was Adel and he was incredibly knowledgeable and professional about the history of each site we visited. It just made our trip so easy to be able to have him handle everything; the ticket purchases, keeping the street vendors at bay, organizing a beautiful lunch overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Felt like VIPs with our own guide and personal car. Our driver drive calmly and was always right there when we needed him. Shout out to Explore Egypt tours for coming through at such short notice. I booked the tour at 8pm and your was booked within the hour for pickup at 7am the next morning. Highly recommend for sure. The Catacombs alone are worth the trip.

Alexander is such a beautiful place. I wanted to come back to Cairo on the same day. Aref planned well. Not only have seeing the history of the city and Egypt but also the beautiful beach and local good. Another wonderful day!

Ahmed and Mohammed were professional, knowledgeable and kind.
They showed up on time to our hotel and communicated the itinerary. Mohammed drove us safely through the traffic to our destinations. Ahmed patiently told us the history and significance of the artifacts and locations we visited.
