An amazing day seeing the life of the floating village and hundreds of multiple species of birds in the sanctuary. The sanctuary was so peaceful and finally we got to see a part of Cambodia that wasn’t littered with plastic!

An amazing trip to the bird sanctuary. We saw hundreds of birds of many many species in a beautiful environment. We had lunch in a wonderful floating village homestead. The boat journey was fantastic through the waterways and floating villages. Our guide Sok was helpful and informative and a really nice person. The driver Paeap was equally professional and kind. We highly recommend this trip.

Absolutely fantastic. Arranged a private birding tour at the Prek Toal bird preserve at Tonle Sap and the driver, guide and boat operators were all friendly and helpful. Guide stayed with me as long as I wanted at the observation tower watching the birds, he spoke English and was great. Would strongly recommend.

Hokly was the perfect tour guide for this incredible place. The bird watching from the tree house hide was brilliant, but hanging out at also at Prek Toal floating village, watching the world of the floating village go by and enjoying genuine Cambodian cuisine was something else! Please choose this local man trying to improve his community, over the big agencies. Thank you for a magical day...totally recommend.

I went there with my mother, aunt and friends and truly enjoyed the trip. Our driver Deth and guide Soryar from About Cambodia Travel & Tours provided us with all information about the village and the Tonle Sap lake. Kampong Phluk happened to be his hometown, so he is very knowledgeable about the village. Moreover, he speaks very good English so we could communicate easily and therefore got all sorts of information that made the trip more meaningful.
Kampong Phluk is a truly interesting place to visit. You can see a real Cambodian floating village and watch how locals do their activities on stilt houses and boats during the rainy season while their village is flooded.
The canoe ride passing the mangrove trees around Kampong Phluk was certainly an enjoyable and memorable experience.
I recommend tourists to come visit Kampong Phluk to feel the real Cambodian life.

Nice visit. Our guude Chenda Hen was helpful. Unfortunately the water level was low, so I didn't get to ride a boat through the mangrove.
