On this literary tour, experience firsthand the stories of the legendary Spanish authors who brought to life what is now known as the Quarter of Letters of Madrid. From Cervantes, the author of Don Quixote, to Lope de Vega, you'll pass by the places where they lived and the stories they left behind, as well as their literary legacy. Your narrator will begin in the Plaza de las Cortes and bring to life the Madrid of the past through the lives of these great artists. On Cervantes Street, he will help you identify the house where Lope de Vega and Cervantes lived. You will continue to Góngora y Quevedo and learn about the famous scandalous anecdote that happened one morning in 1601 in a house that attracted the attention of the whole neighborhood. You will also pass by the Monastery of the Trinitaria on Calle Lope de Vega, where artists gathered in the house of Francisco de Quevedo. Your tour ends on Calle Huertas.

This was fun and just a nice addition to our trip. It was so nice to have a sense of the place and the history at our own pace

Very basic introduction, and short. The narration was cute. The app did a pretty good job of keeping up with the route and coordinating with the narration.

The Spanish version was offensive, with every single S pronounced as a Z, and this was not only distracting because it made the guide sound DUMB but shows a total lack of interest and real negligence from whoever put this together.
