Visit this labyrinth of corridors, caves and chambers carved out of the rock at Wieliczka.
Wieliczka Salt Mine is a perfect day out, in operation since the 13th century. The mine today has been visited by more than 40 million people and was recognized as one of the original World Heritage Sites named by UNESCO.
The mine reaches a depth of 327 meters and is over 287 kilometers long. Marvel at beautiful statues and other art carved directly into the salt rock.

We had a great visit to The Salt Mine. A well organised pick up too with Margaret. She was so lovely and was informative and chatty.

Bellissima esperienza! Le miniere di sale meritano di essere visitate. Il tour con Thousand Miles Krakow è ben organizzato. Olaf, il nostro accompagnatore, ci ha accompagnate fino all'ingresso delle miniere e si è assicurato che tutto fosse ok. Essendo arrivati con qualche minuto di anticipo, ci ha mostrato il parco antistante l'ingresso delle miniere. Persona molto disponibile, simpatica e con un'ottima guida. Esperienza consigliata.

This was such a great experience from the moment I was picked up until I was dropped off. Olaf did everything he could to make the drive and handoff to the Salt Mine tour guide seamless and all through our time together he was sharing interesting information and pointing out places. He was incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating (I needed to stop for a few minutes on the way back and he happily obliged).
The salt mine itself was fascinating and fun! Again, the guide was very knowledgeable and sensitive to the needs and pace of the group. I highly recommend the this tour and Olaf in particular ☺️

The trip was amazing, it was a very stress free experience due to Olaf ensuring we weren’t confused with anything. The salt mines was a lovely trip but included lots of walking so make sure to wear trainers. I would deffinitely recommend booking trips through Thiusand Miles

We had a great experience with Pawel as our driver to the Salt Mines. The mines were super interesting, make sure to wear trainers and bring a snack! Pawel was on time to take us there and was really helpful in giving some suggestions for places to eat and further excursion for our trip :)

We were kindly picked up by Tomek who was very kind, helpful and extremely friendly.
He made sure we were comfortable and requested us to ring him when we were finished our salt mine tour.
Tomek was already waiting to take us back. We didnt need to ring him.
Well done Tomek for all your info on trips, places to eat etc.

The visit to the salt mine was definitely worth it.
Transport was provided by Marek from Thousand Miles Krakow. He guided us perfectly to the entrance and back to the hotel. A very pleasant experience, he provided clear information and also extra tips about Krakow, a nice guy! You are in good hands, you notice that and that makes the experience extra relaxing.

Having the transfer to the Salt Mines just enhanced the whole Salt Mines experience hugely. Marek was absolutely lovely and gave us so much additional info regarding things to do in Krakov and recommendations for good eateries and bars. He was charming from the start. Recommendations were spot on too. We wouldn't hesitate to rebook what was a truly first-class service.

The driver picked us up at the hotel. He was very knowledgable. Gave us loads of information and what to expect, when we arrived at the salt mines. I would highly recommend this company.
