2. Ancient City of Ephesus
After greeting, we will have 20 mins drive to Ephesus area. We will start visiting one of the main highlights in Turkey, Ephesus, one of the 12 cities of Ionian League (an ancient Greek district on the western coast of Asia Minor) is located near Izmir. As a port city it was a major departure point for trade routes into Asia Minor. Walk through history along marble streets lined with wonderful public buildings, among them the Baths of Scholastica, the Library of Celsus; it was built in the beginning of the 2nd century A.D. by Gaius Julius Aquila to be a memorial to his father Gaius Julius Celsus Polemanus, the proconsul of Province of Asia. , the Temple of Hadrian and The Grand Theater are two of the most impressive buildings in Ephesus. Grand theatre was built in 3rd century B.C and it was later expanded to 24.000 spectators by the Romans in the 1st century A.D.
3. Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
Visit The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there.

Lunch Time : Grilled chicken shish, grilled meat ball with salad, 3 kinds of mezes, seasonal fruit will be served.
5. The Temple of Artemis
We will stop at Artemis Temple where used to be one of the seven wonders of the ancient world as our last stop before drive back to Kusadasi town center and port.
6. Kusadasi
After the tour we will take you back to the Kusadasi city center or port.

This was an amazing tour, and we would highly recommend it to anyone! We only had one day in the port of Kusadasi from our cruise. As soon as we stepped into the port, our tour guide Orkan was ready to take us to Ephesus. The transportation was really spacious and comfortable for our family of five, and they easily could have accommodated more people. We were able to beat the crowds at popular areas like the Ephesus archeological site and the House of the Virgin Mary. Orkan also showed us beautiful weaving and ceramic workshops, hidden ruins, and the best places to buy Turkish souvenirs. Not to mention, lunch was delicious! This was a very enjoyable, personalized experience with a knowledgeable and friendly guide. Thank you, Orkan!

All around fantastic tour. Our guide Mediha was incredibly knowledgeable and very flexible. We were able to everything we wanted to see and had a fantastic traditional lunch as well I have they recommend.

Absolutely fantastic experience..tailored to our specific preferences. Very knowledgeable and accommodating guide the really showed authentic hospitality. From the communication on where and when to meet, to the well planned tours, this was the perfect way to see the sights of Ephesus. Yesim was wonderful. She gave us great insights and information, and we so enjoyed learning about the culture and history of the area. Ismael, our driver, was courteous and made sure we were comfortable with cold waters and air conditioning.

I like it a lot, the gide know a lot and he was really gentle.

Aleyna and the driver were fantastic tour guides and were very accommodating to us! It was 100F when we went so they were able to save us a lot of hiking and walking while still taking us where we wanted to go and letting us see what we wanted to see. And the included lunch was the best food I’d eaten in weeks!!
