Negril 7 Mile Beach & Rick's Café Combo Tour from Montego Bay

This trip to Jamaica was a first for my wife and I. We stayed at a resort in Montego Bay, and contacted Mr. Pugh for a tour of Negril. Mr. Pugh came highly recommended by my coworker and he definitely lived up to his recommendation. Right away he treated us as if we were family and he was highly knowledgeable about the history of the area as we traveled to our destinations. We had the best lunch at Vinnies bar and grill!.. The curry goat is the best I've ever had... I wish I took a plate to go...! From there we went to Skylark Negril Beach Resort on 7-Mile Beach. The white sand and clear water was just breathe taking! I think this was the icing on the cake for us... We could've spent all day on that beach and the service was just awesome. This is where we'll stay on our next trip to Jamaica. We ended our excursion at Rick's Cafe. Rick's was really nice but our stay was cut short due to a really bad downpour that caused flash flooding. However, our trip was very nice and memorable. I'm greatful that Mr Pugh was able to help make our trip so special.

I don't know where to begin with this review, but Mr. Pugh was probably the best tour operator I have ever interacted with. From his professionalism to his friendly and hospitable nature, Mr. Pugh ensured that my wife and I felt at home throughout the tour. We had to change the pickup times more than 3 times and we were still late in meeting him at the lobby, however, he did not even bring it up as an issue. Infact, he went above and beyond with being courteous and he completely made us feel relaxed, and put us in a mood to enjoy the trip. His communication throughout the entire trip was on point and he was always on time whenever we were done with a specific site. We were bummed out that we could not visit the markets, but that was understandable because it was New Years Day. However, that calls for another trip to Mo Bay, and we are so glad we found our guy. We will definitely be booking our future trips with him. Book your trips with PPP and you will never regret it! Thank you for your excellent service Mr. Pugh! :-)

Mr.Pugh was a great guide, and repeatedly told us the trip was all about us - he made sure our experience was enjoyable, relaxing and stress-free. I really enjoyed Rick’s Cafe, where we watched the sun set and my husband cliff-dived!

This excursion consisted of a drive to Negril boardwalk villas to spend about 3 hours on the beach. Our tour guide, Sunshine and driver Kane were amazing! We had Sunshine as our tour twice on our visit and she truly made our experience so fun! Lunch was included, bar for $ and and option to pick live lobster for the grill to prepare for you. The included lunch was jerk pork or chicken. Don’t expect drink refills either. From boardwalk villa beach area is a nude beach to the right and dressed beach to the left. Nude beach is well separated though for those who don’t have interest. We stopped at two gift shops that appear to be owned or at Least have “dealings” with Nexus who booked our tour, 🙄 same crap at both. We then went to ricks cafe to watch the sunset. We enjoyed it and jumped the cliffs! Be careful if you jump to stay straight to prevent water bruises. From Trelawny this was a very long day for us, 3 hours each way on the bus so it was a 13 hr day for us!

This tour had been on our bucket list for quite some time. PPP trans tours was easy to book, safe and the post booking communication was excellent. Our driver was knowledgeable about the local area and very professional. He made me and my wife feel totally at ease, we were able to relax and unwind. The stops he suggested along the way made our experience truly authentic. Grab a cold Red Stripe beer and enjoy the stunning scenery, of visitors and locals.

Excellent service! PPP picked up us up from our hotel lobby in Montego and took us to Rick Cafe! They were very efficient, propped, clean and stopped us for authentic Jamaican food in between the ride! Very pleased!! We will use the service everytime we visit Jamaica!

My 12 year-old daughter and I booked PPP Tran Tours for an excursion day off our cruise, while docked in Montego Bay via Carnival Vista. I knew I wanted to visit Negril, as I had visited it before and found the area and people incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Mr. Pugh gave us clear instructions on how to meet up, and was very helpful and accommodating to make sure we got the exact experience we wanted. We chose 2 locations to visit based on what we were looking for, Mr. Pugh made introductions for us to the staff, and made sure we were settled and felt comfortable before stepping away to allow us to relax. I would HIGHLY recommend PPP Tran Tours for anyone wanting a personalized, professional, and hassle-free experience in Jamaica.

Donovan was the best tour guide, friendly, professional, knowledgeable and personable! He was funny. Donovan took us to some of the local restaurants, his recommendations were great and the food was amazing! When you go to Jamaica use PPP Tours and ask for Donovan! You wouldn’t be disappointed!

Mr. Pugh picked us up at our resort on time and was very courteous, professional, informative, and accommodating. He knew which roads to take to avoid traffic on our way to Negril. He gave us a lot of information about Jamaican history and culture. He took us to The Boardwalk, which was a quaint little spot for grilled lobster, food, drinks, and beach access. Unfortunately, it rained for 2 hours while we were there, so we couldn't get in the water. Thunderstorms are common in the pm. Great music, good food, and fresh caught lobsters for your choosing. Ricks Cafe had a great DJ, lively crowd, food, gift shop, pool, and drinks; however, they do not allow outside water or food and bags are searched. Cliff divers jump into the ocean which was exciting to watch and the sunset, which we did not stay for, due to dinner reservations, is supposed to be incredible. Being born in Jamaica, but growing up in Brooklyn, I enjoyed the countryside drive back to the resort in Montego Bay, which took 1 hour and 45 minutes. I would highly recommend Mr. Pugh. He was wonderful and we felt safe. His van is very clean and air conditioned. He will accommodate specific things that you may like to do like get local food and view certain sights. If you want Tastee patties you must get them in the morning to early afternoon. Looking forward to returning to Jamaica and would definitely take another tour with Mr. Pugh, but not in August. It's hot as HELL. I actually got sunburned, not that day, but during my stay so please use sunscreen. I've never been sunburned. Thanks Mr. Pugh(Hope the soup was good :-))

My wife and I visited Montego Bay, Jamaica in April 2019. We hired PPP Tran Tours Jamaica one day for a visit to Negril.
Mr. Pugh was an absolutely wonderful tour guide! He took his time, and explained a great deal of Jamaica's history along the route.
He pointed out things you just would have never picked up on. Such as people stopping by the little road side stores, and people heading to the beach in Negril for the Easter Monday holiday.
Once we told him we were from Kentucky in the USA, he began to tell us how much Jamaicans loved the Kentucky chicken! And two of their biggest stores in Montego Bay!
Also, he told us some Jamaican delicacy's such as curried goat. I had some at our hotel later. And it was good!
We highly recommend Mr. Pugh and PPP Tran Tours. He suggested and let us pick our locations, and how long we wanted to stay. He came back to check on us in case we wanted to leave earlier or stay later than originally planned.
We ended the day at Rick's Cafe in Negril. He was right there to pick us up, and get us back to our hotel in Montego Bay in time to catch dinner!
We would use PPP Tran Tours Jamaica again!
