The route is easy for average people with average fitness. Gorgeous views and friendly guide, would recommend to anyone come to Malaga.

I cannot say anything about the experience…because we did not get to have it. I bet it was great. We were really looking forward to it. While there is a clear meeting point for this activity, it is not clear how to get to that point and there was zero communication about any options. Cruisers are dependent on the ship for disembarkation times, and we were unable to secure something to get us there. This would need to be prearranged…and it was not possible to know the times needed. Attempted a refund/exchange for an alternate activity and was refused.

Memorable and beautiful trip. Our guides were knowledgeable and fun. Initially we thought of doing the hike on our own, but tickets were sold out. We found this package on Viator which includes the guided tour + shuttle bus. The shuttle bus is HIGHLY recommended! If you are coming from/to Málaga, you can easily take the Renfe train to El Chorro, which is where the guides meet everyone.

Beautiful vistas and peaceful hike. Our guide Frank was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. Highly recommend getting out of the city and enjoying the hike. We got super lucky with our group. Need to plan for a day. Take early tour in the am so it’s not so hot. Eat at La Garganta hotel. The conejo (rabbit) over orange sauce was amazing and well priced.

The road to the meeting point was temporarily closed so we couldn't make it and viator refused to re-book us or issue a refund... The hike is probably 5 stars but the tour operator gets none!
