Ahmed guided us for two days in Luxor. We visited some of the most renowned sights like Karnak temple, valley of the kings, etc. He is a passionate, easygoing, warm-hearted person who was always willing to help. He has an extensive knowledge of Egyptian history, with which he offered us a glimpse to this ancient, magnificent civilization. He interpreted the hieroglyph, statues, images on the wall well to us, bringing to light details that could easily go unnoticed if we travel by ourself. Besides his knowledge, he deal well with conflicts. We had a dispute about price which made my father extremely upset. Ahmed apologized almost immediately and offered us a frer boat trip on nile as an apology. The only thing that does not live up to my expectations is that the second day trip is a bit hasty. While I understand this may be due to the overwhelming number of attractions we had to visit that day, it would still be better if Ahmed could offer more stories and explanations in some of the less visited attractions. Overall I would recommend him.
