We had a great stay in Budapest. It was highlighted by spending two days with Nellie. We were a group of five friends, all first-timers to Hungary, and we booked both the tour of the city for one day and the food tour for another. Nellie is a local but also a cosmopolitan person who can connect with her guests wonderfully well. She had great insights about Hungarian history, culture, food. We walked a lot, took the bus, walked the market, had great food. Overall, we felt welcomed and enjoyed the experience of a Budapest introduction, leaving plenty of room for future visits.
We definitely highly recommend this personal experience.

Nelli was an awesome guide who basically showed us around the whole city in 4 hours. We chose to do the tour on our first day in Budapest and had a good overview of what would be cool to be explored in the following days after the tour.
A couple of weeks before our tour she specifically asked us about the areas we were interested in, so we mainly visited the Jewish quarters and the Budapest castle area with her.
She had a vast knowledge about various topics, including the history of the city, the Jewish history of the city, great places to eat and have a cocktail and was able to answer any question we might have had.
Would absolutely recommend!

Nelli was terrific! By the end of our day we felt we had a new friend for life. We are older so a bit slower but Nelli was so understanding and made sure we saw the places we wanted to see at our own pace. She took photos of us in various places as well as certain historic buildings and sent us a collage of the photos at the end of our day. The architecture and views were spectacular and we thoroughly enjoyed Nelli’s company, history lessons and conversation. We highly recommend this tour!

We had a fantastic experience with Nelli. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable. In our 6 hour tour we managed to see lots of Budapest’s attractions and have some truly excellent food. Will definitely book again when we return to Budapest.

My partner and I had a great customised tour to visit some of Budapest’s cultural and historical highlights. If Budapest, then ONLY with Nelli. She knows how to show Budapest from its best side. The food tour through the market hall and then in various parts of the city was inspiring - her friendly manner means that everyone in the gastronomy scene really appreciates her, she is well-known and you can try everything. You also get valuable cultural, musical and historical insights into the city. She knows how to show hidden nooks and crannies away from the tourist crowds and thus make Budapest a real insider tip.

Nelli put together a program for us that left nothing to be desired: a city tour of Budapest, a trip on the Danube with wine tasting, a tour with Royal Cars and a visit to a spectacular ruin bar in the evening. We loved the tour with Nelli. The next day we booed the tour, she contacted me to ask what places we wanted to visit. She created a very nice itinerary of the places we wanted to visit. She is very knowledgeable, friendly and fun. We had a great time. If we ever are in Budapest again, we will definitely book her for a tour. Highly recommended. It’s worth it
