Great scenery and hike! My guide was very knowledgeable and of a good heart. You could see he was proud of his island and shared a lot of great tips. We visited several places after the hike and had a great greek lunch.

Our guide, Vincent, was very personable. He shared a lot of information about sites along the route and was a wealth of information. He was a careful, safe driver and was very attentive to our needs and wishes. We put off the hike for a day on his recommendation, as it rained on the day we initially planned. That was a good call!
The hike was pretty easy for a couple of older Americans, and it did not disappoint. The vistas and walls were very impressive and beautiful. We have lots of pictures to remind us of the experience.
Vincent took us to a taverna overlooking the sea, but it was too cold to go swimming. So Vincent recommended a stunning local beach nearby. I’m so glad we went. The water was a birds egg blue I had never seen before. And the landscape, mountains descending steeply to the sea was dramatically beautiful.
We would highly recommend taking this hike. You could probably do it yourself, if you were driving and knew where to go BUT you would be missing a lot of the experience.
Ask for Vincent (he speaks English, French and Greek fluently. Who knows how many other languages he has!). You won’t be disappointed.
