Very well organized trip, adapted to our desire by Ahmed Abu Diab (tel: +20 1008668653) . Expert knowledge and advices. First day very efficient and comfortable taxi ride from Hurghada to Luxor and once there everything was arranged for us as agreed before. We had a very relaxing boat ride on a Felucca. Second day we left at 06.30 (Ahmed was at the hotel even 20 minutes early and waited patiently for us to get ready!) and because of that we beat the crowds as well as the hot summer sun. We had the temple of Karnak almost to ourselves! We were among the first 10 tourists inside. I very highly recommend this. After that we went to Valley of the Kings (again highly recommend getting the extra ticket for Tutankhamon and Ramses tombs) and temple of Hatshepsut. The midday heat was getting too hot for my pregnant wife but Ahmed made sure we had an air-conditioned table for lunch. Ahmed also took us to an artisan specialized in alabaster rock carvings. Again a very nice touch and quite informative. I had the opportunity to take part in the handcraft which was amazing. We didn't take advantage of the whole package that was on offer due to us having to be careful with the heat and exertion, but I'm convinced Ahmed will not let you down. We hope to visit again soon to do a trip to Aswan and Abu Simbel (inshallah!) and will definitely contact Ahmed again for this! If you read this: thank you for a wonderful time Ahmed and say hi to Diab from us!

A very exciting, interesting trip to Luxor! You can't get more in one day to see the most interesting sights in Luxor. Our guide Shabi was very competent and was able to answer not only historical questions about the country but also general questions competently. The tour with him was very relaxed and he is a very personable guide who also speaks very good German. We would do the tour again anytime!

Shaban was the perfect guide. He told us very interesting facts about the Karnak, Luxor and Hatshepsut temples and was able to answer all of our questions. He also gave a good introduction to the tombs and explained hieroglyphs which you could then look up in the tomb. He didn't just recite dates but told didactically selected stories about the tombs and temples. Shaban speaks perfect German and has a very relaxed and friendly manner. He didn't take us to so-called sales events either. No, we really spent the whole time at the interesting places and turned away the annoying salespeople. As it was very hot at the places, he planned his information so that we were always in the shade. His prices are fair and he doesn't rip you off. I would book with him again in a heartbeat. We visited the following places: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Hatshepsut Temple, three tombs of Merenptah, Sethos II and Ramses IV + a Nile crossing. I recommend doing this in two days, as we did; you'll simply be overwhelmed by the impressions. Best wishes from Switzerland.

We had a lovely day with our tour guide Shabi! He was always able to explain everything to us in great detail and speaks German really well. The short boat ride across the Nile for lunch was also very nice. All in all, a great trip that we can only recommend!

The ride was okay. It was a full bus so allot of boos but that's expectable. The tourguide could've let us know how long the trip was going to be but didn't have any information during the whole trip. I thought this was very anoying. The tour guide was a real egyptologist that was very nice. Abdul is very knowledgeable and made the trip worth every penny. He could read the hieroglyphics because he studied them for over 14 years. He was very nice and had allot of information you wouldn't otherwise get. Also because he is an egyptologist we got acces to many sites that were otherwise not accessible for the normal tourist. Very very nice!! Only thing that was not in the description was the boat tour wich had nothing to do with the trip. It would've made more sense to cancel that and have more time at the temples. Otherwise a great trip and we learned allot. Thanks Abdul you are a great guy and made trip worth every penny. Keep up the good work. A trip me and my wife will never forget. Abduuuuullllllll!!!!!

Fantastic trip. Our guide, Moshera, was excellent and gave an explanation of the history. We had free time to look around as well. We paid extra to into King Tuts tomb. I would have regretted it if i hadn't.
Moshera was excellent with the children. She helped out with pushchairs and carrying the baby. This made it so much easier as we had 4 children in tow.
