Our very knowledgeable guide Tiffany was funny and laid back. Do not expect to go inside any of the colleges. This is a walking tour of the streets around the University. We did get to go in the Divinity school. If you take the morning tour, you can fit another tour in the afternoon to visit one of the colleges, for example Christ Church college, after a quick lunch.

Jaye was a great tour guide. Efficient and knowledgeable. She hit all the high points of Oxford and was particularly good with our 9 year old (the only kid on the tour). It was the perfect way to get an overview of the city.

There were only 4 of us so it was easy to get around the busy city and hear what the guide said, who had a fund of knowledge and dates. We had an interesting tour of some of the colleges but in the 2 hours there was too much detailed information about past alumni, with dates, to take it all in - rather an overload! We did not visit Christchurch and the cathedral, nor were the Ashmolean and other important buildings mentioned.

Steve was our fantastically enigmatic guide who took us all by surprise with his thorough knowledge of History and detailed life histories not only the famous Oxfordmen but also those who's names never got the credit they deserved. We started as fans of J.R.R Tolkien and C.S Lewis and returned as fans of Oxford's finest writers, painters, lawyers and other artists as well.

Steve has a great sense of humor that let us digest the shocking incidents (dirty parts) in a few seconds with references that hold significance to the Present world of 2024.
He talked for 1 hour and 30 mins and I was all ears during each minute of that time, and I can say with the expressions of our fellow tourists, their experience was not different from mine in any way.

Thank you so much Steve, I have posted your enigmatic tour and all my friends and family are enjoying that as well on Instagram Stories.

A special trip involving 2 groups one French speaking and one English speaking - total 22. Very interesting and quirky facts shared about the history of town and gown. AS the group organiser I was Very grateful for the support I was given by the office and the guides when we were delayed by 45 minutes arriving in Oxford due to a closure of the M40. Thank you - I definitely recommend your tours.

Fantastic tour guide, Richard, who made it interesting, enjoyable and relaxed. Tour length was great, not too long or too short. Would highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful packed 2 hours with excellent guide David Dales. Very good and hugely informative commentary and discussion. David soon appraised our level of knowledge and interests, and consequently not a minute was without interest. He was very knowledgeable about the city and university, and its history.

This tour was very enjoyable and quite a learning experience! I traveled to Oxford with my parents; both of them were very impressed with the knowledge of our tour guide (his name was Martin I think) and the city itself. I would definitely recommend this tour to people coming to visit Oxford.

The whole college vs university concepts of Oxford had me confused prior to this tour. Appreciated all that Steve shared about the structure of the colleges and university system. Then he added all the historical details of the city itself. Well worth the fee to make the day in Oxford even more memorable.

David was incredible, so knowledgeable, so passionate, so polite and accommodating. His tour didn't feel scripted and he made an effort to converse between spots and thank us for our interactions. Seriously, he made the 2hrs fly by and there was barely a moment where he wasn't giving information. The only (constructive) criticism would be that because he's so knowledgeable I think he maybe made some presumptions about my level of history knowledge, as I found sometimes I'd be a little lost in his in-depth references to historical British events, but the great thing is if you just stop and ask - he'll clarify. Really a brilliant job and he should be proud of himself as an educator too.
