2 Days 1 Night Travel Package To Aswan & Luxor From Cairo

This was an excellent tour. Our guide Samir was excellent on the first day and Abu Simbel and Aswan were incredible. Guide was very knowledgeable and built in stops for food and souvenirs. We booked our own hotel in Aswan and were picked up the next morning. Salsa was our guide the second day and she was very good as well as we toured Luxor and the Valley of the Kings. Excellent tour to see as much as possible. Our driver was Mohammed both days and he was extremely kind and made our experience better.

We did a 4 night/5 day cruise from Luxor to Aswan and it was amazing! The Travel Agency had someone waiting for us with signs wherever we did that and they took care of the arrangements, transportation and luggage. This was especially important in a country where we don't speak the language.

Once the cruise began, we had our own private Egyptologist, Mustafa, who was absolutely fantastic! He explained everything in detail, knew about everything and told his stories about the Egyptian gods and their histories in a humorous, yet cohesive way. The company is lucky to have him.

We not only explained the temples and murals to us; he also answered our questions about current day Egypt and its recent history, so we now have the beginning of an understanding of the culture here. I hope to come back again and spend more time in Cairo and will definitely ask the agency for Mustafa again!

We were not given flight info so guy picking us up from hotel had to call He looked at info and said ok but when i looked at once at airport realized it was wrong. And We did not have specific itinerary so had no idea drive to see Abo Simbel
Would take two hours + from Aswan each way. Then hotel Prysmisa in Aswan had nice lobby but room was 3 star at best. Very disappointed Drive to Luxor took 3 hours. So lots of time in car Guides and driver were great and sites worth seeing but communication with EMO was not good

We arrived very early in Aswan and were taken straight away on the trip to Abu Simble. We were really starving but no breakfast or lunch was provided. During our night stay at the hotel, only one double bed room was booked for me and my friend. We requested for separate rooms which was declined and we had to pay almost 100 dollars for the room.

I can't say enough times how special it is to have him guide us through all the unknowns of this wonderful place. A. more entertaining tour you will not find so I highly recommend him. If you want a trip that you will forever remember then this is the guy. Outside of his knowledgeable, passionate, and entertainingly professional manner I have found that I am touched by the pride he puts forth concerning his countries history. Every detail and Accommodation he will grant. You are in the greatest of hands with him and I highly recommend him. He is the best private guide bar none. He made this trip one for the books. If you want to go to Egypt and are also looking to have amazing service and see/do everything you want, book emo tours. I went on a solo trip and recieved the most professional and kind assistance every step of the way. The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable and so friendly - My tour Guide Esraa and Dalia in Cairo were amazing, my tour guide Mustafa in Aswan and Luxor was so awesome!!! These professionals are passionate about what they do. All the transportation was very timely and comfortable. My trip exceeded expectations, Egypt is magical and gorgeous and EMO tours will make sure your experience is perfect.

This was a great tour and our guides were amazing. This tour is meant for those who want to see the entire country in a short period. We were met at our hotel in Cairo with a car to take us to the airport. They picked us up again in Aswan to see Abu Simbel where our guide Basma was amazing. She gave us all the information we could’ve wanted and took care of us. The hotel in Aswan was amazing too. Then we’re picked up to be driven to Luxor where our guid Mohammed Hashem met us and we got to see all of Luxor as I posted in a different review. Then we were driven to the airport and picked up again in Cairo to be dropped off at our hotel. They were very professional and helped us at every speed bump we had.

My sister and I traveled together. I booked through their website Emo Tours for our Cairo full day tour with the Giza Pyramids, Camel Ride, Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, Khan El Khalil Bazaar, with lunch included for Day 1. Day 2 was pickup from hotel to airport for flight to Luxor, tour to the east and west sides luxor and karnak temples, statue of memnon, queen hatshepsut temple, valley of the kings, lunch included and drop off to our hotel in luxor.
It was a tailormade request from their initial tour offer but they were willing to accommodate and gave us a fair price on the things we just wanted to fit our time with.

**IMPORTANT NOTE: YOU MUST BE FIT AND NOT BE CLAUSTROPHOBIC TO CLIMB UP AND DOWN THE PYRAMIDS AND TOMBS IF YOU WANT TO SEE IT.
Cairo: Tickets were included except the Camel ride, the entrance to the Khufu Pyramid and the Mummy Room at the Egyptian museum. Our day was compact and Ahmed Nour was on time and was a good knowledgeable guide and had very good courteous manners to both my sister and I while maintaining a friendly atmosphere throughout the tour. We learned so much from him, and he was eager to answer all questions we had. We only wished we could have gone closer to the Sphinx but we had a misunderstanding and could only see it from afar. He accommodated my request to pass by a cotton factory, and he also offered to take us to our preferred lunch at a local Koshary restaurant. He is a great guide to recommend. Our Driver was also very kind and was always ready for us.
The camel ride was nice, the camel herder who was taking us closer to the pyramids to take photos was forcing me to give him money, even saying to me "Allah is watching you when you give." while his boss was out of sight in the distance. I only thought I didnt want to risk my sister's and my own safety so I pulled out a 50 EGP bill and gave to him but even that he refused and he didnt want to take us back to the camp. I took out a 100 EGP and he took that and even demanded for the previous 50 EGP and then he took us back to the camp. Tipping can be encouraged but shouldnt be forced like a gunpoint with his desired sum to tourists. I complained to my guide but thought to be kind not to say in front of his boss so he does not get fired for his stupid actions to tourists.
Luxor: We were given a very early flight and picked up around 6am at the airport. Our guide was a lady, I cannot remember her name. She was nice and polite but she guided like we were in a big group and refused to come and walk with us. She explained some places from the main entrance and from afar and would tell us where she would wait and that we could go by ourselves to explore and come back and ask her if we have questions. All the places of the valleys and temples were vastly huge and we could not remember to ask her questions til the end and wouldve appreciated if she came and explained things to us closer to the places she was referring to. We had a nice local lunch and sat together but minimal social interaction. She took some photos for us at the entrances and we were dropped back on time to our hotel. The driver was very nice and polite to us too.

All the places were well worth the visit and made our two days a very full experience of rich history of Egypt.

I wrote this to EMO tours on 27 April. And after 3 resends have not heard back from them since . Tread with caution people :
I am writing to let you know that the driver did not arrive to collect us from the hotel in Luxor to take us to the airport to fly to Cairo.
They were due at 8pm and we waited till 8:20 and had to arrange another taxi - the cost of which was 180 Egypt Pounds

Also on arriving at Cairo airport the driver was not there either to take us to the hotel so we assumed we had been forgotten again. We waited approx. 10 mins and again had to arrange our own transport at a cost of 68 Egypt pounds. When we got to our hotel we has WhatsApp message from the driver to say he was there.

We are not very happy about this as it was stressful to find a driver is Aswan and all of the pressure from local people on us and not knowing what to do all the time. It spoilt what was otherwise a decent trip.
