HIGHLY recommend and even insist you take this tour! Our guide Tiama and our facilitator Eugenia were incredible. This was the first time my husband and I have ever done any sort of museum or monument with a guide and we will always look to use a guide in future (and hopefully they are this good). Tiama was incredibly knowledgeable, fun and great with the younger kids (our daughter was 12 on the tour). She made the whole 4 hours interesting and we learnt so much. Eugenia was great as the facilitator for the Percy Jackson element - I would add that if you are not a Percy Jackson fan this trip is still worth doing! A+!

Fantastic tour with a fantastic guide! She engaged with all children and vice versa. My kids are 10 and 7 and both of them loved it, even the usual as they call it "boring" museums. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing tour company! We just returned from Greece and we had 6 days of tours with Greek Mythology Tours. From planning to traveling to our return, it was wonderful. We did the 3 Day Percy Jackson Mythology trip and then we added 3 more days of private tours. We started in Athens with the Acropolis, Lake Vouliagmeni and Poseidon's temple. Day 2 was Delphi, Day 3 was Epidaurus and Nafplio. Day 4 was Olympia, Day 5 was Mycenae and Corinth and Day 6 was in Crete for Knossos. Every driver and tour guide was Top Notch. The tours are designed for children but this was exactly what my 21 year old 'child' wanted and they adjusted easily. The communication with the company before we left was excellent, the payments were easy, and when we needed help while traveling, they were responsive and efficient. They even offered to purchase the museum and admission tickets in advance so we could move through the lines more quickly. I cannot say enough about how happy we are to have booked our magical vacation through Greek Mythology Tours.

This tour and others by Greek Mythology Tours were the highlights of our family's recent trip to Greece. The Percy Jackson perspective kept our 11 year-old engaged throughout the 4 hours, and the guide was terrific. We had similar success with their tours of Delphi and in Crete, and Konstantina was an incredibly helpful and responsive contact person. We highly recommend them!

It was an amazing experience! Konstantina was so helpful for choosing the right tour that fits our interest and schedule. Our guide, Katerina, was so knowledgeable and passionate about Greek history and mythology. She made the entire experience incredibly engaging and fun. What really impressed me was how our other guide, Stella, managed to keep my daughter entertained with fun quizzes and fascinating facts about Percy Jackson and Greek mythology. Overall, it was an unforgettable day for us. I highly recommend this tour to any family visiting Athens.

They were so helpful in organising our whole trip. We did the Acropolis tour and the visit to the Temple of Poseidon, Delphi and also Knossos in Crete.

The Acropolis tour was a jaw-droppingly impressive experience that we will never forget. It is not an exaggeration to say that it was the trip of a lifetime. You don’t know what astoundingly beautiful archaeology to look at first but both our guides were excellent. Though younger children were brilliantly entertained with charming and well-prepared Percy Jackson activities, the older ones were quickly mesmerised by Elias’s explanations of the real stories and myths of the Acropolis. They absorbed every word and particularly hung on his explanations in the museum where he showed incredible knowledge about the exhibits. The whole of Greece’s past and the chronological story of its art and culture just came alive and was right there in front of us. I will always be grateful for that day and that explanation.

Delphi is a wonderful site. Awe-inspiring archaeology beautifully explained by Evita who was very imaginative in engaging the children with the mysteries of the Oracle. We gained far more insight from the museum and connection with the importance of Delphi than we would ever have done on our own. Our guide’s knowledge and love of this history was completely catching. The views in Delphi are the most beautiful anywhere and the lunch restaurant they booked was idyllic.

The website might make you worry about walking in hot sun in Athens or Delphi but in real life the guides found lots of rest and shade and it really was both easily manageable for children and completely fascinating.

We were looked after well on our trip to see the Temple of Poseidon. We had no idea the swimming lake would be such a site of natural beauty - crystal clear shallow warm waters bubbling up from underground springs in natural rock. Everyone said ‘oooh’ when they saw it. The fish that nibble at your feet were a bit of a surprise.

We really are very impressed with the exceptional academic knowledge and practical and professional experience of the guides. Katerina, who explained Knossos to us, has so much depth of knowledge - excavating, working at and studying the site for decades - no one could know more. She painted a very engaging picture of life and culture at the site as the eras changed. We truly felt we understood it - and almost as though it were all happening yesterday.

All the drivers were a friendly, reliable and welcome sight, the recommended hotels were perfect and all the care from Konstantina in the main office was attentive, thoughtful and incredibly organised. My 10 yr old son has announced he wants to study classical history when he’s older. Thank you again for a trip we will remember all our lives.

We booked two tours - Cape Sounion and the Acropolis Museum and Acropolis Percy Jackson Tour. I cannot speak more highly of this group.
The communication has been impeccable, even before we arrived in Greece. Our guides Maria and Joanna were both super knowledgeable and engaging with my children. We all learnt a lot and had a great time, even my younger son who has not quite started reading Percy Jackson, is now captivated.
Greek history has always been a key interest and I loved that the team brought it to life for us.
Thank you Konstantina, Maria and Joanna. It was wonderful.

We had an amazing time! Our first guide actually waited for us IN line and saved us so much time! She was very knowledgable and made it fun for the kids. We were able to change the time of our 2nd part of the tour to meet our needs and it was perfect. Our next guide was fabulous too! Even our driver was funny and fun. We had a fabulous day!

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. The guides were absolutely amazing. I have been two times prior to this and it can be hectic. The guides navigated us around and made it easy (which is hard to do here). They explained everything at just the right level and I feel like I learned more than my prior two visits. The iPads were great for my 8 and 13 year old and gave them perspective of what things may have looked like originally. The Percy Jackson supplements were a great variation for my kids and they loved it. Whole heartily recommend !!

My wife, myself, and our 12 year old daughter used this company for a tour from the cruise port rather than booking a tour from the cruising company and we are so glad we did. The cruise tours pack 30 or so people onto a bus and each of those groups has only one tour guide. This tour had only 6 people plus the guide (us and another family of three) which made the experience much more personal and informational.

Our guide was great and the office was accommodating and easy to work with. Our cruise ship arrived an hour later than expected. We called the company the morning of our arrival and they pivoted without difficulty.

On our tour, tickets to the historic places were not included but they were easy enough to book online.

I couldn't recommend this company more highly!
