A food and history tour of Madrid provides an excellent opportunity to discover the city's most iconic dishes while learning about its history. The tour starts at the historic Plaza Mayor, where the guide takes visitors through the winding streets to explore Madrid's food culture.
We will stop by the oldest restaurant in the world before making our way one of three tapas stops. First stop has been in the same family 60 years. after this stop your guide will walk you through the medieval streets of Madrid pointing out some historical points of interest like the Plaza Del Sol. Then we are off to your 2nd stop where you will enjoy the iconic garlic shrimp of Madrid and 2 more tastings with a Spanish Rioja wine . Then we are off to our final stop not before visit more historical points of interest. 3rd stop three more amazing tasting.

This tour was so special. NAIARA took us to several hidden gems of Madrid that we would not have seen on our own. We tasted several tapas in several locations. She had a great knowledge of the city history as well. She was so pleasant and you could tell loved what she did. I think this is a great way to really immerse yourself in Madrid’s culture! Our tour guide Naiara, is a highly informative, delightful young lady who is an excellent asset for the tour company. She provided us with an excellent food and history tour. Being the only couple on the tour meant we could move easily from place to place to enjoy delicious food in a variety of venues whilst being introduced to the history and buildings of Madrid.
Highly recommend!

Naiara was fantastic. We were given interesting history along our tour. The food provided was delicious and ample. We were shown a great tip for eating mushrooms and will try at home. We were never rushed and encouraged to ask as many questions as we wanted to and could take as many photos as we liked. Couldnt recommend. More highly. Many thanks Naiara for a great tour

Our guide was amazing she navigated the city and was very engaging. I felt like she added a new level of depth to every corner we turned around and helped me appreciate the city more. Additionally all the food was wonderful and each location had a unique charm that my group really loved. I cannot recommend this experience enough to anyone who loves food and history.

The tour of Madrid was absolutely fantastic! The food tasting and drinks provided were exceptional, offering a delightful culinary experience. In a short span of time, I learned so much about the vibrant city of Madrid. Our guide Christina was knowledgeable and incredibly friendly, making the tour even more enjoyable. We enjoyed our wonderful time with Nye and Adrian. They took us to 3 great restaurants for tapas and drinks—all of them with their specialties in mind. There was plenty of food and things we never tried before, but all really good to eat. The sights part was also really informative and helpful for the rest of our stay. This was a highlight of our Madrid tour.
