We booked this tour after searching through many others, and we are so glad we did!
It was such a smooth sail, and we were allowed to enjoy the ride on the sides of the boat which allowed for stunning pictures and views of the water.
The skipper and his assistant were super fun. They gave us some fun facts on the way to the island.
There were 2 stops, and plenty of time of swim. They provided snorkeling gear which was fun to see the fish and sea urchins around.
The lunch they provided was made on the boat, and it was so fresh and delicious! Vegetarian option was just as delicious.
Overall, this boat day was a great way to see Dia island, and an amazing way to spend a day in Crete in June!
Value for the day was 10/10 🌟

Excellent day trip with Captain Alex and First Officer Spiros.
Sailed from Heraklion to Dia and stopped off at the bays of Panagias and Agios Georgios for swimming, snorkelling and lunch prepared by the crew. The experience felt luxurious and we had a brilliant time on board and in the sea.
Lunch was excellent and the crew were cheerful, helpful and friendly, explaining landmarks, wildlife and any aspect of the trip. I am not a strong swimmer and Spiros gave me a flotation vest without any fuss, which gave me confidence in the water and really added to my enjoyment of the day.
The only negatives were our fellow passengers who were clearly looking for a different experience and appeared put out when they realised alcohol wasn't on tap for the entire trip. Different folks I suppose but if I was booking again, I would bring a group of friends, to save the lottery of who you might get on board.

I was hoping to let my partner experience sailing for the first time and this seemed a good opportunity. I was disappointed though as through the entire trip the engine was never turned off. That is not sailing. I believe that with the gentle breeze we had, we would have made some headway with the both sails hoisted but of course with the jib up, space on the foredeck is restricted. The mainsail was only up to give the boat some stability. I wished we could have lost the engine noise.

It was a very enjoyable way to spend a day. It was a calm ride over to Dia Island and it took about 1.5 hour to get there. We were able to snorkel with the provided equipment. We went in May, and the water was pretty cold but bearable. I would suggest to bring water shoes if you think you might want to swim to the little beach. We did not have them and our feet hurt because the bottom is rocky and we had to be very careful not to step on sea urchins. The lunch was very good and the crew were friendly and talkative. The wind shifted on the way back to Heraklion, and the sea was rough but it was a great ride.

Had great fun on this boat. Vag and Spiros were knowlegable and very kind making sure everyone was comfortable. They made us a lovely lunch of salad, dakos and chicken.
We swam in 2 locations around the nature reserve and saw fish with the mask and snorkels provided. We also saw the rare falcon which is one of the animals this area is designated for. The island was full of beautiful flowering herbs. The geology of the island is also magnificent and well worth looking at.

This was a wonderful trip. The food was amazing and the crew on the ship were so friendly and helpful. The water was beautiful and we all enjoyed swimming. Highly recommend!
