I would highly recommend the Titanic Trail walking tour. I joined the tour with some relatives who where visiting Belfast and wanted to get a sense of the city. As a Belfast native I thought I knew the city’s story. But our excellent guide Aidan brought to life the many detailed aspects of the city’s industrial past, its main players and the legacy that was left on the city. We found the tour really interesting and learnt many new things about the city I live in. Aidan did a great job at carefully explaining the city’s past as he guided us from City Hall across the River Lagan and out towards Harland & Wolff shipyards. Aidan’s insights and knowledge made for a very enjoyable tour and definitely one to put on your Belfast bucket list! As a group we thoroughly enjoyed the Titanic Trail walking tour, it was the perfect way for my relatives to see Belfast all whilst learning about its unique past. Special thanks to our guide Aidan, he was super helpful, knowledgeable and great craic!

I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this 2.5 hr walking tour. We met Aidan at the City Hall and before leaving each participant was provided with an audio receiver and headset. The technology worked perfectly and facilitated social distancing throughout the tour. It was obvious that Aidan had a thorough knowledge of the history surrounding the building and fate of the Titanic. His commentary was interesting and perfectly paced. The stop for a bathroom break and coffee was perfectly timed! This is a tour that will be of interest to both locals and tourists to Belfast. Thanks Aidan.

An excellent overview of Belfast’s shipbuilding past with detailed information on the building of the Titanic. Brilliant to visit the slipways and dry docks and see parts of the city I’d never visited before. Recommended for locals (you will learn things about your city you never knew), and for tourists. Aidan is an excellent guide providing factual information interspersed with personal stories - his father and grandfather both worked in Harland and Wolfe.

Thoroughly enjoyed our leisurely
afternoon walk with our tour guide Aidan on THE TITANIC TRAIL WALK. Interesting information shared along the way from the starting point at the BELFAST CITY HALL, which included the TITANIC MEMORIAL GARDEN, down Chichester Street pass the LAW COURTS, over to the Laganside, crossing over the LAGAN WEIR FOOTBRIDGE passing the SSE ARENA, round by the ABERCORN BASIN & MARINA which had fantastic display of yachts. Had a welcome coffee stop at this point with WC facilities available also. Continued the walk down towards the TITANIC BELFAST CENTRE, pass the HMS CAROLINE at ALEXANDRA DOCK & finally finishing off at the TITANIC'S DOCK & PUMPHOUSE. This fantastic day was finished off by a trip back to BELFAST CITY on the TRANSLINK GLIDER. Our group then headed for a meal out to the 2 Taps Restaurant. An end to a wonderful day. Thank you Aidan for reminding us what a wonderful CITY we have & to be so proud of it! CAROL S.

I am glad I took the time to book this tour. It was wonderful. I’ve been on a number of walking tours in various countries and have to say this one was ‘right up there’. Whilst on the tour, out guide Aidan was always conscious of the different mobility levels of the group and had the walking pace exactly right. A background of the ship and the voyage she took from design to sailing and the tragic ending was explained in ways I could comprehend. Some of the facts relating to the ship were astounding and not something that is widely available without extensive research. Aidan is an encyclopaedia on legs. Not only in relation to the tour we were on but also our surroundings. As you would expect in a bustling city, there was an element of background noise, but that wasn’t an issue, as we were all issued with headsets and were able to hear the commentary without any problems. COVID concerns were not an issue, as the equipment was sanitised whilst we were there.

Now that I have had this experience I have no hesitation in encouraging our friends and family to book with Aidan. He is a great gentleman.

Hope to see you again for one of your other tours XX

A wonderful way to spend an afternoon and learn more about the iconic Titanic and it's ties with Belfast.
Although I thought I had researched all of the aspects surrounding Titanic, I was amazed to find out how much more there was to hear. My guide Aidan was very informative and there was no hesitation in answering any questions I had.
Throughout the tour I was provided with information on the various locations we stopped at and was regularly asked if there was anything I wanted to ask about at each place we stopped. The pace was perfect for me and at no time was there there any sense of being hurried, jut to get on. From the history surrounding the building of the ship and all those involved to the people involved and the connection to the places we visited, all aspects were covered.
Now that we are coming out of lockdown and people are looking for things to do during their staycation, I would recommend this to be at the top of their list.

Well done Aidan, you are a fountain of knowledge.

Fantastic walking tour from Titanic Memorial Garden at City Hall at a leisurely pace, seeing many visitor attractions along the river to where the Titanic was built. Our tour guide Aidan gave us lots of historical facts about Belfast and its maritime history along the route (the headsets were great).

This tour was excellent, Aidan's knowledge was second to none. Plenty of time to explore, with the use of headsets meant I was able to walk and listen. The craic was great, learnt new facts about a place I've lived all my life. Highly recommend it to tourists and locals alike.
