Visit Tangkuban Parahu Volcano which is still active, that you can see the crater closely, smell sulfur and see a puff of smoke from the crater of Tangkuban Parahu Volcano. On the way to volcano, you will pass through a vast expanse of tea plantations and we will pass the local village with a vast expanse of rice fields around it. You can see the activities of farmers planting and plowing rice fields and even harvesting rice in the fields. Before returning to Jakarta, do not miss to relax and soaking in a hot spring whose water comes from the crater of Tangkuban Parahu Vulcano, after that try to explore Fruit Market and try fresh local fruit such as : the Mangostins & Honey Pineapples.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Visit one of the biggest fruit markets in Bandung, and taste fresh honey pineapple which is the famous original fruit from this area. You can try other tropical fruits such as mangosteen, rambutan, snakeskin fruit, etc.
2. Subang
Visit the local village and rice field to see the real activity of local people and farmers planting, caring and harvesting rice.
3. Tangkuban Perahu
Visit one of the active volcanoes located in West Java Province. Surrounded by tropical rain forests (sometimes you can see a wild monkey around the rain forest) and lush pine trees. You will see the crater of the Active volcano closely, smell the sulfur, see a puff of smoke from the crater and even be able to hear the original sound of an active volcano at certain spots.
4. Lembang
Stop at a local restaurant for a break and have lunch with Sundanese Cuisine. Then, visit the Local Coffee production center and learn about the production process of one of the best coffees in Indonesia.
5. Malabar Tea Plantations
Visiting a huge tea plantation located in an active volcano area, Explore tea Plantation to find out about the history, how to grow, types of tea and how to harvest tea (don't forget to take some pictures before leaving this beautiful huge tea plantation).
6. Ciater Hot Spring
After a long day visiting many beautiful places in the active volcano area, it's time to relax your legs and body in the hot spring area before heading back to Jakarta. Enjoy the warm sulfur water, which is good for healing rheumatism and skin problems. You can soak your legs/full body and enjoy a local body massage. (No Bikinis in this area, you can't swim here). I did the tour on July 24 2024 before a conference. We had a total of 6 guests in our group. The van, equipped with AC, was comfortable. I had to admire our guide Bryan and driver Andy. They did a great job for a wonderful trip. The pick-up was punctual. The trip to the volcano was around 1.5 hours. Bryan provided safety instructions at the volcano. He took many photos for us. He offered useful tips for a solo traveler like me. We enjoyed a rich local lunch, including sate, tempeh, water spinach and chicken. In the afternoon, we visited a civet (luwak, Indonesian) coffee store. The flavor of coffee was fruity and mild acidic. Come and try for yourself and buy more if you like it.

Beautiful day trip that gave us the chance to do so many activities and dive into the local culture.

The volcano views were breathtaking. We had a short walk around and could take lovely pictures. The food was great, the restaurant decor was nice and original. Bryan was a fun, knowledgeable, friendly and very fluent guide. A wonderful experience I would recommend.

I had a wonderful trip with Nanda, our guide,her driver and another tourist.the volcano was absolutely fantastic as were the hot springs, we got great information from her at every place, were able to try exciting fruits and enjoy a very tasty meal.we see wonderful rice and teafields , It was an absolutely great experience and Nanda was a great tour guide, thanks again to our driver who drove us safely all day.

Rizky was a very friendly and helpful guide! He's very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our queries. He took great care of us and ensured that we enjoyed the tour. When we had difficulties taking pictures, he volunteered to help us with it. Also, he recommended a few great picture spots! Definitely enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend!

I cannot recommend this tour enough. Benny and Mami were the most amazing tour guides, they made me feel so comfortable and looked after. Especially as a solo female traveller I don’t always feel safe but on this tour I felt so looked after. They are some of the kindest people that I have met in this country. Benny and Mami were also very funny and shared entertaining stories. They both deserve a promotion! We did so much in just one day, it was an incredible experience. As a solo traveller, this tour was also an excellent way to meet other travellers. The volcano was a real highlight. Worth every cent! Thank you so much for this wonderful experience in Java.

It was our first time in Indonesia and Rizky was very accommodating. He was very informative and helped us learn the about the local culture and the history of the places like the volcano and rice fields. He also took us to an additional spot the Luwak Kopi. We had a great time and enjoyed every bit of the trip.
