Great:
-guide Gama with excellent energy, storytelling, spoken English and Spanish, and sharing his Mayan culture. He’s a gem
-good-natures guides David and Beyson
-coordination between guides
-the sites and people visited (Tulum, Cobá, cenotes, the shaman) were remarkable and unforgettable
-the comfort and cleanliness of the large tour bus and safe driving of Juan

Definitely recommend this tour!!

That said…
Needs improvement:
-we booked and then didn’t receive immediate information about when and where we would be picked up and what to bring, nor did we receive a message saying when we’d get that info. It came the afternoon/evening before the tour
-we tried contacting the tour company about this four different ways (phone, TripAdvisor message, email, WhatsApp) before we heard back from anyone
-“lunch” wasn’t available until 3pm and water wasn’t offered. Bring snacks and water in non-PET / non-disposable bottles. Can buy food or water at most sites but time is limited
-bus arrived late in the morning and took a long time doing pickups. A few hours from scheduled consolidated Playa del Carmen departure to arrival at first stop, Tulum
-tour was advertised as being in a van w 10-12 people, but we were in a huge tour bus w three guides for three language groups
-each person must pay $25 additional for Tulum and cenotes entrance, in cash. So really this is not an $85 tour, it’s $110

The trip was in a medium-sized bus with 30 people. The tour guide Ricardo was great, very informative. Fluent in English and Spanish.
The trip was to the Tulum ruins, the Coba ruins, a nearby cenote, and included food and a short Mayan ceremony.
I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND TAKING A TOUR THAT DOES *NOT* GO TO THE TULUM RUINS, as it was super crowded. If possible try to take a tour that only goes to Coba and the other attractions. Tulum was a zoo.

We really enjoyed this tour! Our guide Susanna was excellent. She was fun, knowledgeable, and kept things moving along. We learned so much about the ruins and Mayan culture! My favorite part was swimming in the Cenote and doing the ceremony with the Mayan shaman. Overall, it was a great experience and you get to see/do a lot in one day.

I would recommend bringing snacks because lunch was a bit late. Good walking shoes are also very important! We were picked up at our hotel at 7:25am (right on time) and got back to our hotel about 8:30pm. So as the title says, this is a full-day tour!

Thank you Susanna for a fun day!

If you’re trying to decide it it’s worth a whole day out of your vacation, it is! This is a well organised, very professionally run trip. Transport was on time & clean. We transferred to a larger bus for the main journey. Our guides Angel & Suzanna were fantastic. They were informative & funny. They made the day. It is ALOT of walking. So follow their advice & wear sensible shoes. The cenotes are beautiful so bring your swimsuit. The journey back was also well thought out as they dropped you to smaller vans again to get you back as quickly as possible. A great day out!

Overall it was amazing, but the kids were starving. Lunch wasn’t till 4pm and we didn’t get back till 8pm. We had some snacks with us, but not enough for that!

Bike taxis and Coba were wonderful and cenote spectacular!

Tulum, Coba and cenotes was incredible sites to visit. I just wished that they maintained the place properly and restore it for future generations and for the people that depend on it as livelihood.

We were picked up at 7:24h from the hotel. The tour started at 9:15h.
We lost almost two hours of our lives waiting for the "right" tour bus to pick us up, sitting in a van beside the road. No explanation, nothing.
If you want the tour to start on time and not waste people's time just select one pickup spot for everyone and people will be happy.

Nothing was explained enough, but that's why there was time to take pictures. The guide, Alvaro, was completely disinterested and did not try to make contact with us at all. For the guide I give a 0 (zero).

You have to $450 extra for the trip, and as I calculated that covers tickets for the sights, the life jacket, locker at the cenote, bicycle/taxi ride to the pyramid, everything.

We had to postpone the trip for 2 days because I had diarrhea, but thankfully we were able to take the tour after all.
