Overall it was okay. We were picked up at our hotel. We had a stop at a artisanal shop. Overpriced items. The guide would make some comments to guilt trip you to purchase items or to act a certain way. He stated during the part of the tour in the ruins, it’s okay to go on your own, if and to take pictures if you’d like. That in its self isn’t bad however he had a whole conversation earlier on the difference between a tourist and travelers. Insinuating that a “tourist” is there for pictures and don’t care for the historical. The whole tour felt RUSHED. Didn’t really have anytime to do anything on your own or see the locations fully. At the end, we visited a historical Spanish town. It was raining and he gave everyone an option to just driver thru and head home. But then added if anyone wanted to get off then the whole bus had to get out in the rain. This made it uncomfortable to choose to get out. We actually opted to get off since we wanted to venture out. The tour guide promised tequila tasting but he didn’t even bother to get off the bus. Just dropped us off and “ do whatever we like”.

At the end he gave a spill about giving tips. Again, guilt tripping you to give money. He said to tip if you respected him and the driver and because they have been up since 4am.

Had a fantastic time visiting Chichen Itza, Chichikan cenote, and Valladoid town. Our tour guide Mr. Moto alias Victor and Ole were just awesome.
Plenty of vegetarian options during lunch. Overall it was a great, safe, reliable and trustworthy experience. Lived up to the reviews given by others previously!

Absolutely amazing tour! Hugo and Victor were very kind and informative. Hugo is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the Mayan people and their culture. The cenote was amazing and beautiful!

PS. Hold off on buying souvenirs until the second city you go to (after cenote). The Mayan village overcharges you and the items are mass produced.

The tour guides are so knowledgeable of the culture and natives. Victor, Paul and Jesus are the best your guides I have ever had. They were very courteous and very respectful. We loved the trip to Chichen itza the most. It was rich in history. We also loved the trip to the colonial city Valladolid. It rained all day so that dampened our excitement, but overall we will do this again
