Great tour, went with Son & Jasmine who were the loveliest guides we could have asked for. Was a really good experience visiting all of the stalls we would never have found and trying a lot of different food. Highly recommended.

I was lucky enough to stumble upon this tour company. All of their Hanoi city tours are well worth it and super informative and fun. I learned so much. The cool thing was that the company has enough experience with Vietnam in general that they were also able to help me customize some experiences for later in my trip. I had an unconventional timeline and some random set of wishes. Brian was experienced enough to understand my situation and piece together a custom itinerary that worked out perfect for me. He sensed what my style of travel was zeroed in on the perfect combination. I value his experience and think he has put together a unique company of guides and tours that stand out from the many that are offered. An absolutely wonderful journey with Brian! An experienced chef and guide for more than 15 years, over 10 in Vietnam, Brian knows the food scene in this town. In a Bourdain like extravaganza, we toured multiple unique spots around the old quarter. Each stop had an in-depth description of the specialty that we would enjoy, along with stories about the chef or restaurant. Our family of four throughly enjoyed this experience as we gained access to the inside scoop of what locals know.
The tour was really well planned as we meandered between 9+ spots. We will try to return to all discoveries he introduced to us. A very enthusiastic foodie whose passion for Vietnamese cuisine is infectious. A++

Loved this walking foodie tour of Hanoi. Brian was an incredible host and his passion for food was evident from the moment we met. Hanoi really is a foodie paradise and I highly recommend this experience. Perfect final stop for coffee with view over the lake. If you do the afternoon tour I recommend you skip or have a very light lunch! Brian also did a great job of adapting the food to my gluten free diet.

Highly recommended. We thoroughly enjoyed our time walking through the busy old town of Hanoi sampling local cuisine. Hi, our guide, was very personable, professional, courteous and fun. He spoke excellent English. We will all remember his mantra of "sticky rice" when crossing the chaotic Hanoi streets!
We visited a selection of small food stalls that cooked their produce and specialised in one particular item. We was sampled freshly cooked Vietnamese doughnuts with a mung bean centre, Bahn Mi (my favourite!), a variety of different noodles and steamed rice pancakes, not to forget the worm pancakes. Plus we tried the delicious Vietnamese Egg Coffee and Coconut Coffee. Everything was delicious and a great introduction, not only to Vietnamese cuisine, but also their culture.

Rose was a fantastic guide - knowledgeable and full of passion for the amazing Hanoian food, but also really informative about the history and culture of cuisine in this beautiful city. I’m thinking of doing the whole tour again!

This tour lived up to the hype! My friend recommended to me as the best tour he’s ever done and it was really amazing. I’m solo traveling and happened to luck out with a private tour which was awesome because my guide Linh.
He was so sweet and made the tour really fun. His English was great and I learned a lot. Only thing that was tough about randomly having a private tour was it was too much food for the two of us. A good problem to have as the food was all amazing but I am very full😂
Would recommend this tour to anyone. Great exercise and even better food.

I booked this tour for my cousin who was visiting me in Hanoi. He had an amazing day and was raving about the food he tried when he got home. He said that his tour guide showed them unique restaurants and was incredible at describing and explaining the food (as well as other information about Hanoi and Vietnam)
The tour company was beyond helpful at making the arrangements and communicating with us before, during, and after the tour. Highly, highly recommend!

A great way to orientate ourselves with Hanoi. Rose walked us through areas we would not have found. Stopping for typical Hanoi food from vendors that we would not have had the confidence to do ourselves. Being from a farming area and having a chef trade enables her to explain the produce from farm to plate. A great conversationalist on all things Vietnamese! Thank you.
