Leaving Nice along the Promenade des Anglais before heading inland to the jewel of the Côte d'Azur, St. Paul de Vence.

Sheltered behind its ramparts, the ancient city of St. Paul de Vence is without doubt one of the most beautiful places in the world. Frequented by many famous artists who would dine at the Colombe d'Or restaurant, this charming city is renowned for its culture and its highly artistic influences.

An authentic Provençal market awaits you in an old town of outstanding beauty: this is Antibes. Behind the Picasso Museum are the sea walls dating from antiquity. Through the great arch you'll discover the world's largest super yachts moored in Port Vauban, the largest marina of the French Mediterranean.

Enjoy the coast road from Antibes to Cannes, marvelling at the beauty of the seaside towns en route.

Viator cancelled my trip 24 hours before it was to take place and didn’t even apologise. Nor did they offer me an alternative other than to take a day trip starting in Cannes!!!!!!!!

Akis Kafaroboulos Is the absolute best guide; very knowledgeable. The only recommendation is for the tour to be just a little bit longer

On this tour, we met most amazing tour guide , Nathen. He was professional and informative with a humorous disposition. He managed our route smartly and allowed us to make the best of our half a day tour. Considering that my reservation was almost cancelled by tour company due to mis communication, we lucked out having tour for just two of us , with expert driver and guide like Nathen. That was cherry on the top. He sure made our experience outstanding and memorable.

My husband and I were visiting Nice prior to embarking on Emerald Waterways River Cruise of Lyon and Provence. After being disappointed with our walking and motor coach tour in Nice, we decided to book this tour recommended by our concierge at Splendid Hotel. They were fully booked for the full day tour so we opted to take the half-day tour of St. Paul, Antibes & Cannes 65 e per person. WHAT A BARGAIN! Antonio picked us up at the hotel. As he drove, he provided us with a commentary of the landmarks and famous sites along the way. He was an extremely careful driver and very knowledgeable of the French Riviera.

According to available literature, "St. Paul de Vence is a medieval village, sheltered behind its ramparts is for sure one of the most beautiful places in the world. Discovered by famous painters, St. Paul is fascinating not only for its charm but also for its great cultural and artistic influences.

"The natural beauty of Antibes remains in the old town with the ramparts along the sea and the arched wall along the marina. There are plenty of little streets to explore. Marvel at the world's largest yachts in the Port Vauban and the largest marina in the French Mediterranean.

"So many things to see in Cannes! Embellished by palm trees and fine sandy beaches. Famous cafe-terraces, elegant shops and deluxe hotels have made it famous around the world. Discover the film festival and conference center. Free time to stroll and shop as well."

Departure at 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Cash only! The only negative of the tour since most seniors do not carry a lot of cash for obvious reasons. If we can afford a $15,000 river cruise, I think we are good for over 100 e (per couple) on our credit card. PLEASE CHANGE THAT RULE! As I stated to the booking agent, you don't need a credit machine to take credit. USE THE CREDIT FORM!

Unbelievably fantastic photographs. DO NOT MISS THIS TOUR!

Didn't get to see much of Cannes due to some activities happening that evening. But otherwise the tour was exactly as advertised. we really enjoyed Antibes and St-Paul-de-Vence. Our driver was full of information about the area and great with the car. Had a lovely time.

Unfortunately the rain started when we got into the van at Nice. the van was full so not so comfortable.

The driver effectively dumped us at Cannes with few instructions. We were left to wander for an hour.

Antibes was a similar experience, though would have been a better place to explore in better weather, and if markets or the Picasso museum had been open.

We were all wet and cold and back at the pick up location 15 minutes early, though the van was not there until the appointed time.

St Paul de Vence was what we all wanted to see.

The driver did not stop anywhere for photos on the way up, and the windows were wet so impossible to get any good pictures of this beautiful walled city.

We arrived at 5.45 pm. All the shops shut at 6pm.

Overall a very disappointing afternoon.

I have always enjoyed Viator tours but this one was not a favorite. Antonio, our guide was pleasant and knowledgeable but we were stuck in the third row of the van with the air conditioning fan blowing behind us. We couldn't hear what he was saying. Also, his driving was very aggressive making the trip unenjoyable. The stops weren't long enough so we felt rushed and couldn't relax and enjoy the experience.
