This is an experience for walking, nature and food lovers. The beginning of this trek is in fact in the green heart of the island of Salina rich in biodiversity. With the local guide you will be able to learn many things about agriculture, discover how the vineyards grow and be able to enjoy breathtaking views. It is a journey through the vineyards of Malvasia, Insolia, Cataratto and other autochthonous varieties and for the younger ones it is interesting to know the fruit plants that they will encounter. There will always be a panoramic view of the mountains. We will continue to the village of Leni where we will conclude the experience in a family-run farm. We will first visit the cellar in typical Aeolian architecture, and then we will taste some caper products together with other vegetables, Sicilian cheeses and a paired glass of wine. We had such a great time with Guiseppe. It was great to explore the island's agriculture, stopping at points to take in the incredible views. Guiseppe has amazing English also which really helped me in particular 😅 He was so friendly and accommodating. A top class guide who I will recommend to all my family and friends who want to visit Salina in the future. The dinner later in the evening was beautiful with the fresh produce and excellent company making for a memorable evening. Grazie mille Guiseppe for such a great experience.
