It was definitely a tapas and pintxos tour! Our guide was very pleasant and accommodating. Go with a private tour to fully experience the culture. We went to five different places that served tapas and pinxtos. One tapas and one pintxos per restaurant. It was quite an experience! You must have at least a red sangria in one of the restaurants. I enjoyed looking at lows and rows of pinxtos. Each restaurant will have their own specialty pinxtos. I wished there was a paella in one of the places but it wasn’t included because this tour was all about tapas.

Mariana is awesome! She is friendly, helpful, informative, and fun to talk with. She had great food and wine recommendations and made us feel welcome our first night in Barcelona. She even let us practice our Spanish with her (despite ours being a bit rough)! Top notch experience and guide we would recommend to anyone; we could only hope to run into Mariana again!

The tour guide was great. She was both friendly & knowledgeable. We were full with the amazing tapas we had at several different small restaurants. Good thing we took a cab to go back. We had a lot of wine.

The communication from the tour guide leading up to the date of our tour was terrible. One line emails and then no responses to my replies. I received an email from one of the guides an entire month before our scheduled tour date stating that they were at the meeting location and wondering where we were! In the end our flights were delayed causing us to miss the tour. However, other members of our party did go to the meeting location and were unable to locate the tour guide. Despite multiple emails explaining our situation we did not receive a single reply. The one email that we did get back after the date of our tour was a request to review the tour.... that never actually took place!! We are extremely disappointed and would have loved to experience the tapas and wine tour that we had planned for during our visit to Barcelona.

Our guide, Silvina, was very knowledgeable about Barcelona and the local food culture. We had great conversation and met many of the local shop owners. Her outgoing personality put us at ease, and we enjoyed every minute. Would highly recommend this tour!
