We departed early in the morning from Buenos Aires for a flight to Iguazu Falls. Doing the travel all in one day is reasonable.
We selected a private tour for our family of 4 (all adults) to get as much as possible for the day. Jorge led us on an informative walking tour, the pace was perfect. We had adequate time to stop wherever we wished to take as many photos. One of the highlights was taking the boat ride to various points that bordered where the waterfall cascades down. Despite "Devils Throat" not being part of the walking tour as they are repairing it from flood damage, it was still an impressive experience! The flora and fauna was magnificent, butterflies would land on our arms and backs the entire day. Rainbows are stretched across the falls even in the peak of the day. The tour operator had great communication with us. Thanks for the memories! You will become wet, if it is cool outside do consider bringing or purchasing a poncho. The boat operator does provide "dry bags" for each guest on the boat. Staff asked every group if they could take pictures with our personal cameras. They were very accommodating in capturing memories for every guest!

We had an extraordinary experience at the Iguazu Falls National Park.
Our private tour guide (Rene) was exceptional. Rene was courteous, very knowledgeable and professional. He was instrumental in making the most out of the visit. He adjusted our scheduled activities based on weather conditions and kept us informed all the time. He took care of all arrangements including the add-on tour we purchased (i.e., The Grand Adventure). I would definitively recommend the tour be taken with a private tour guide (Rene).

Three things I need to make the readers of this review aware of:

1. Carefully read what is and what is not included in this package. The tour does not include transportation to and from hotel-airports in Buenos Aires. Air transportation going out and coming back was from two different airports in Buenos Aires. Going out through Ezeiza (EZE) and coming back through Aeroparque Newberry (AEP). The tour agency offers ground transportation in Buenos Aires at an additional cost of USD $120. I understand that this cost is the worst-case scenario because they do not know the location of customer hotels in Buenos Aires. However, I asked the concierge at my hotel and made my own arrangements and it only cost me USD $40. Something to think about.

2. As of the date of this review (June 19, 2024), the advertisement is not updated for over six months. I will consider it a material misrepresentation. The advertisement does not state that one of the main attractions of this park (i.e., Garganta del Diablo fall) is closed to the public as a result of flooding damage to the walkway since Nov 2023. Just to put it in perspective, it is like going to Disney and not seeing Mickey or the Cinderella Castle. I fully understand that this situation was caused by nature and it is out of their control but I feel like the least they could do is to make prospective customers aware of the situation and let them make their own decisions.

3. It was quite an adventure to get straight answers to specific questions from the company that runs this tour in-country (Signature DMC). First, for over a week we couldn’t get answers to how the additional tour we purchased (i.e., The Great Adventure) fitted in the original tour (i.e., Private Iguazu Falls Tour). The answer was as simple as “there are many boat departure times throughout the day and the tour guide will arrange the time based on the circumstances.” The in-country phone given to us was never answered. It was not until my spouse personally visited the office in Buenos Aires that we got a positive response. The staff (Erika) was very professional and she provided answers to all the questions we were asking to another agent for over a week. Quite an experience. Going through all these hurdles was actually “The Great Adventure”. Good lesson learned.
Overall, we had a great time with our private guide tour at the park. We enjoyed our day and made the most out of it. Beware of the advertisement, as it is not been actualized for over six months at the time of this review (June 2024). By the way, I am not writing this review looking for reimbursement for the portion of the tour that was still advertised while not available. Even though it is a huge reason for visiting this park and a big disappointment, I just want to make reviewers aware of what to expect.

The Iguazu Falls tour was an unforgettable experience, showcasing the breathtaking beauty and power of nature at its finest. The tour guide was knowledgeable and provided interesting insights about the falls and the surrounding ecosystem. Witnessing the majestic waterfalls up close left me in awe, and the opportunity to explore the trails and viewpoints enhanced the overall adventure. All of our travel experiences were seamless. From airport transportation to our flights. My agent Erika was in constant communication with us from beginning to end. I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to marvel at one of the world's most impressive natural wonders.

What a day!! Incredible time. Eder, our guide, was great. Very knowledgeable, knew everything about the area and knew everyone. The falls were great, words cannot describe). Make sure you take the boat trip (like “Maid of the Mist” on steroids). Fitbit said I walked 18,000+ steps (not bad for 72yo). Driver meet us at the hotel, took us to the airport, flight was good, our guide was waiting when we walked off the plane. Return flight was just as easy.

The trip was very well organized and the communication before the trip was very good. Our guide, Sam, was excellent, he told us many things not only about the fall but also about other places in Argentina and Brazil. The fall itself is unbelieveble.

We arrived in Buenos Aires two days prior to a cruise going to Rio. We wanted to see the falls and thought it best to do it in one day. The Viator tour, and Signature tours as the actual supplier trip was flawless. From well before the trip, Signature tours was in touch with us and helped us secure slightly later flight times since we were pretty tired from our trip arriving the day before. We even had the option to upgrade to premium economy on the flight from Buenos Aires to Iguazu for a small upgrade fee. The seats were perfect, very similar to first class on domestic flights in the US. Without asking them, the Signature tours rep, checked us in for both of our flights and forwarded boarding passes to us. Couldn’t be much simpler.
The driver was at our hotel on time and our driver and her guide at Iguazu was easy to locate. The tour with Marcella was simply amazing. She knew so much about the falls. She was a professional and certified tour guide for the falls and she has been doing this for about 30 years. She had incredible stories and knew exactly where to take us and at the right time to avoid any crowds. She was always ready to take our photos if we wanted and spent much time explaining the history and many interesting stories about the falls. I don’t think we could’ve asked for a better guide, And it’s very hard to impress me, since I’ve owned my own travel company for almost 25 years. The return trip at the end of the tour was just as flawless going outbound. Again, this private tour was well worth the money.
