If you don’t have too much time in Vietnam and want to discover the hidden Pu Luong Nature Reserve and the Halong Bay on land Ninh Binh , this tour is designed for you. We didn’t really do any research before booking the 3 day tour. It was such a great experience and we thoroughly enjoyed every bit. Tommy our guide was excellent. He adapted to the weather and always checked we were happy with the itinerary. He is such a good tour guide and we can’t recommend him enough. Pu Luong and Trang A were incredible places. The tour gets you off the beaten track , through remote villages and areas. Accommodation is a great, and set in the most beautiful landscapes.

Travelling as 2 families with children ages 11 & 13 we were extremely impressed by this tour company (eco green) and the tour.
I chose this tour based on a a few reviews at the time and the desire to get off the beaten track and see some something different in north Vietnam.
The tour company exceeded our expectations providing a private and memorable experience for both families. We had our own private, spacious bus and knowledgeable guide for the entire trip. The company even helped us expedite our visas when we experienced delays and catered to our dietary needs including any allergies. They were also very accommodating eg after a tiring hike to the villages and caves allowing us to pay and scooter back to the top which the children loved.
The food and accommodation was exceptional particularly in Pu Luong.
I would highly recommend this tour. Many thanks to Christophe and Hung for the opportunity to create some special memories.

Lovely tour within Pu Luong and Ninh Binh - such a gorgeous setting and beautiful ecolodges. Wonderful hikes through nature and rice paddies. The staff at all the lodges were excellent. Nhat was an excellent guide and made every effort to make sure I was taken care of. I highly recommend this tour.

We had a great time in Pu Luong and Ninh Binh with our tour guide Robert Hưng. We visited amazing rice fields, impressive caves and went hiking in the most beautiful scenery. We especially enjoyed our stay at the Eco Garden Retreat. The food was fantastic throughout the whole trip. Robert is a nice guy and we had a lot of fun. Trang An is really beautiful!

We came to Vietnam for the first time.Manh Do had come highly recommended from friends from Australia and did not disappoint. We stayed 2 nights at his hotel Eco Garden Resort which was in Puluong with a lovely pool to relax in after activities. All the activities were great. We spent our third night at the Trang An Eco Lodge which was also beautiful with a great pool in Nimh Binh. Can highly recommend this company and Manh Do as tour guide. The tour has been absolutely amazing with interesting anecdotes, stories and history of Vietnam and the sites we've visited, told by our private guide, Son. He played a great role to the good memories we had
We started with the cruise in Ha Long bay (which was managed by a cruise company). We are usually not much into cruises but this was really beautiful and obviously well organized. Especially beautiful was the slow cruise around the small island while having lunch, breakfast or dinner. We could go swimming as well at some spot and do some kayak
Then on the next day we spent a day in Ninh Binh with our guide, Son. We did a bicycle tour and visited the highlights, tried interesting food.
The 2 following days were spent in Pu Luong, a mountain area which is (getting) popular among locals where rice terraces can be seen. Unlike Sa Pa, tourism is still underdeveloped and this was a great idea to go there. Mind that rice has its season and the time we were there (in December), the terrace are flooded with water and it doesn't look green like possibly on the pictures. But it's interesting to see nonetheless.

I recomend this tour if you want to stay alone with wour mind. Is a really relaxing tour, we was only 2 persons the 80% of the time, was amazing!
Tommy is a really nice guide, he have the good energy to make this job.
