A brilliant day to explore China. We elected for a smaller tour and ended up just being the 2 of us and our brilliant tour guide, Sophie. We were picked up promptly from our hostel and Sophie spent a lot of time in the first hour of our drive telling us some history about both the Wall and China itself. We got to the Wall quite early which was a brilliant decision as we got to walk and explore whilst it was relatively quiet. The Wall itself exceeded our expectations, it is simply beautiful and really well kept. We then had a lovely traditional Chinese lunch before visiting the Summer Palace which was again, sublime. Sophie was brilliant throughout, spoke great English and was really knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!

Ranee was our tour guide for the day, she was fabulous. As agreed, Ranee was waiting for us in the hotel lobby at 7am ready to start the day.
The tour consisted of a walk around the summer place, a tea tasting experience, Chinese lunch (caters well for westerners), a hike a long the Great Wall and a slide down the toboggan.
We were given more than ample time to explore at our own leisure and Ranee shared with us her knowledge along the way. Ranee spoke perfect English and shared with us her knowledge of the wall and China in general.
A long day, 10 hours in total with the traveling each way. Comfortable car and an experienced driver who dealt well with the Beijing traffic.
10/10 experience, I would definitely recommend. It does not disappoint!

This was a fantastic tour with Cindy! She picked me up at the hotel (adjusting for my work schedule the day of the tour), gave great insights at the Summer Palace, selected a local lunch destination that was tasty even for a westerner, and then finished the day with a great tour of the Great Wall. Highly recommended!

Thanks to this tour we finally got to check off another 7 wonders of the world! We had an amazing time with our tour guide Jack, who was very knowledgeable and passionate in sharing the histories of these places of wonders. Although we can understand mandarin, but him being able to speak fluent English is definitely a plus point!
Lunch was included in this tour as well as the tickets to take the cable car up to the Great Wall and the toboggan slide down. The toboggan slide was quite the ride, definitely a must-try. We went on a Friday and the crowd was not bad at all. Overall we had a lot of fun on this tour and had a lot of great photos taken! Everything was well organized and fuss-free for us. Once again huge thank you to our Driver Tian and Jack, for giving us this great experience and for all the helpful tips and recommendations around Beijing too!

A really great tour for a family of 4 it was the best choice, we did everything in our own
rhythm.
All went well starting with being picked up on time by the driver and Susan our wonderful tour guide. She explained everything very well and in a way that was easy to understand. We started at the summer palace and ended the day at the Great Wall where all of us after climbing up the wall finished by sliding down the hill.

We took the trip with our 2 kids and the tour guide Cathy was lovely and a perfect tour guide. We got a lot of helpful informations and enough time to take pictures, she also took family pictures of us. The driver was also always on time and careful with driving.

Toured the Great Wall/Summer Palace with tour guide Lucy. Lucy was an excellent tour guide and we had enjoyable time with her. She and the driver were on time picking us up. We got to the wall early and it was not terribly busy. Lucy told us much history of the wall and about the culture of China. She took us to a really delicious lunch and then we moved on to the Summer Palace. She spent more of the drive teaching us about local culture and customs. The Summer Palace was a really cool place to visit.
