The staff on the boat had good
Customer service, the guy who takes photos really knows how to pose you for great pictures but wants to change over $125 for 5-10 pics. But other than that it’s nothing special. Id say take a ferry instead and save your money. There’s no “open bar”. They don’t serve you drinks until everyone is done snorkeling which is like 1 hr in, even if you choose not to go snorkeling and even then the drinks are so limited, they didn’t serve the basic, like mango margaritas. Same thing when you arrive to beach club. There’s a “buffet” that’s very limited and the food is not good, we got up and left because of the low quality of food, then the bar served us limited variety of drinks. My husband asked for a Tecate and I asked for a mango margarita and they wanted to charge us for both. Ridiculous. They said only one kind of beer and iced limon margaritas were included. It’s ridiculous the amount of money you pay and the quality of what you get. Would not recommend.

The staff on the boat were amazing. I will say that.

If snorkelling is what you are after, 20 minutes in a crowded area with other boats and people won’t cut it for you. My daughter was heavily kicked in her side and was not allowed to move away from the group. The buffet lunch was mediocre, and the private beach area extremely my busy. No lounge chairs to be found. The town itself is packed with people and very expensive. This isn’t the place to buy souvenirs.

You are on your own for about 4 hours before the boat heads back.

My advice, take the ferry over if you want to see the island. Book a separate snorkelling tour. Pass on the sea turtle tour too. It’s all about selling you the photos they take. The water is murky from all the people in the water.
