From start to finish, this was an incredible experience. Easily the best part of my vacation. Nefi was a phenomenal tour guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and happily answered all of our many questions. We were picked up in a comfortable car and had very pleasant drives to each location. Nefi provided a great and informative tour of Chichen Itza and then gave us time to explore on our own. He was flexible with timing which was great for us. Ik Kil was stunning, our lunch was amazing, and our experience interacting with the stingerless honey bees was so fun! I can’t recommend this tour enough!

What an amazing tour! Highly recommend. The cost was well worth it. Nefi was an awesome tour guide - he was so knowledgeable on Mayan history and culture. We got to experience Chichen Itza before all the tour buses arrived and got great pictures without tourists in the background. Il Kil cenote was breathtaking and again we were nearly alone before the tour busses arrived.

Profession, enjoyable, informative! I learned a bunch of informative details about the Mayans and the ruins at Chichén Itzá, had a relaxing swim and a really good lunch.
We toured out of Valladolid, which was around 45 minutes or so, nice to get there early and beat all the tour buses coming in! Would highly recommend this tour company.

Enrique allowed us to change our meet up time to accommodate breakfast and greeted us with lots of enthusiasm! We arrived at chichen itza before the large tour buses—perfect—and led us through the history of the Mayans. We spent a couple hours walking through the site and then traveled to the cenote. It was gorgeous and refreshing. And, we were able to arrive before the crowds. After the swim, we learned that this was Enrique’s first tour—he was a pro! We asked a lot of questions about the history of Valladolid and he gave us food and drink recommendations for the city. It was a great day! Enrique is a genuine person whose love of his city is clear.

Very high marks for this your company. The owner set up the perfect private tour and sent us a guide that was extraordinarily knowledgeable. We were back well before we would have been if we had used another company/not done a private tour. You won’t regret going with this company. Shoutout to our great guide Miguel.

After confirming by message that tickets to chichen itza were including, we borded the bus to be told they weren't. After some negotiation we were given the admission tickets to chichen itza. This needs to be clarified in the description. This trip includes, transportation to the sites mentioning, admission to the cenote and buffet style lunch. It DOES NOT include tickets to chichen itza and DOES NOT include a guided tour of chichen itza. Admission to chichen is 571 mx , 28 dollars approx 26 euro. Admission and lunch to cenote is 350 mx which is included, 17 dollars or 16 euro.

Our family of four had great private tours of Chichen Itza, Coba, and Ek Balam with Nefi. We highly recommend it. The Sunrise Tour of Chichen Itza that he suggested was a jaw dropping experience. We paid extra to guide us at all these sites as well, which was well worth it. He is very knowledgeable about all of the sites and answered a lot of our questions. He was always prompt, courteous, flexible, patient with the kids, and very informative. We changed some plans because of our young kids getting tired and he rolled with it. We decided to add Rio Secreto last minute and he helped buy the tickets and took us there. He also took us to an incredible cenote at Ek Balam. We were the only people there for over an hour.

We traveled by either van or car, both with AC. We preferred the car as we travel without a lot of luggage and are not big people. But he is so flexible just indicate your preference. We saw cops pulling over rental cars (rental cars in Mexico have a different license plate) several times and were so glad we booked with Nefi. We saw two rental cars pulled over by cops at 4:30 am near Cancun airport.

He also has a cooler at all times and provides cold bottled water. In addition he took care of transportation to and from Valladolid from the Cancun airport. He also arranged for transport to Cancun airport from our Cancun hotel for 1/3 of the hotel cost for an airport shuttle. Our time with Nefi was well worth the price. We never felt nickle and dimed. His advice was helpful and we never felt like he was trying to take advantage of us. His suggestions helped us avoid crowds. Its worth it to always go early to the ruins. It’s cooler and quiet with less tourists. The price he quoted was what we paid (excluding a well deserved tip). We also tipped the bike taxis in Coba and Ek Balam.

Nefi was prompt in email communications prior to arrival and responded to text messages even in the evening once we arrived. We hope to book with Nefi in the future to explore Uxmal and ruins closer to Mérida.
