Join us on this 3 to 3.5 hour walking tour and see downtown Nashville as a VIP while we give you an intimate look at the most popular district in Music City. Come hungry because we start our food tour with a quarter rack of the best BBQ ribs in the Southeast! You’ll get a behind the scenes look at downtown’s most popular restaurants and a VIP private tour of downtown Nashville’s most historic restaurant. While eating and drinking your way through the city – you’ll learn the stories and history behind our famous landmarks.

Savor Southern classics like smoked Tennessee Barbecue, and beat the heat with Nashville Hot Chicken. Then top it all off with a locally brewed beer, 2 craft cocktails, and a visit to a new Nashville Distillery! Don’t forget the music: this tour features the live music that Nashville’s known for.

We believe in supporting our local economy so all of the restaurants we visit are locally owned. Prepare for a tour above the rest as you see Nashville as a VIP!

Genevieve was wonderful! She had so many interesting stories to tell about the buildings and history of Nashville. The venues we visited on the tour were hospitable and served an absolutely delicious sampling of local cuisine. This was a fantastic first day in Nashville outing. We learned our way around a little bit and now have a better idea of some of the sites we wish to visit during our stay. Genevieve told us about places in all the different areas of Nashville! We are looking forward to exploring more of this vibrant city!

Great variety of food choices! So interesting and happy to support all the local businesses. Genevieve was a fantastic guide. First food tour ever and won't be our last! We have been to Nashville a number of times and didn't know many of these places existed.

Amazing tour!! Matthew, my guide, was so great and knew so much about Nashville and it's food and other history. Started at D'Andrews with a delicious sandwich, went to Acme Feed & Seed for ribs and beer, to Cerveza Jack's for a Nashville hot chicken taco and a refreshing strawberry cocktail, then to Mike's Ice Cream for, well, ice cream, and Leon's Candy for salted caramel and a praline. Ended at Standard Proof Whiskey Co for a refreshing lemonade cocktail. I would do this again and bring friends. DEFINITELY worth the money!

Great food tour of local businesses in downtown Nashville with our super knowledgeable guide, Brittany! Learned lots of local history along the way. Enjoyed sampling ribs, brisket, chicken tacos and Tennessee fudge ice cream! This tour did not disappoint.

What a great experience. Brittney was a fantastic host and provided a nice overview of the history of the area as we moved from location to location. The establishments and food and drink choices were great. Thank you for your hospitality and for sharing the experience with us.

I try to go on food tours in most cities I visit and I was definitely impressed with this food and drink tour by A Little Local Flavor. The entire experience was wonderful, from the guide, to the food (wonderful options of both food and drinks, you definitely need to skip a meal after this), to the choices of food venues. A taste of Nashville for sure, but also a touch of history and a lot of camaraderie. We really covered a lot of ground in downtown, hitting on so many of the tourist spots, all the while having great food, and yummy drinks. Our guide Genevieve was excellent, relaxed and knowledgeable. One of those rare experiences where everyone in the group left the tour feeling like friends after a fun and satisfying afternoon adventure.

I wanted to give this 5 stars but can’t. The tour guide was awesome but I feel the description isn’t accurate. You start at Acme Feed & Seed, which is fantastic! The ribs are amazing (we went back) and the brisket salad was tasty. Then on to the next place to have Nashville hot chicken tacos. These were very good too, be prepared for spice. But that’s it for actual food. Next stop is ice cream, then another stop at a candy store. Last stop is a cocktail at a cool whiskey bar. I love that the tour is all about locally owned businesses and each place was great, but 3 small food dishes at 2 places falls short for me. The tour doesn’t need 2 desserts. Yes, I’m fully aware that TripAdvisor takes a cut so some of these are more expensive than booking direct, but $179 per person is pretty steep for the small amount of food on a “food tour”. I’ve had other food tours and always got full (not a big eater). Not on this one. :(
