I want to write a short review about your tour.
First of all Badr was extremely professional and humble to talk to. All questions were answered appropriately and he had a smiling face which kept the environment light.
May Allah bless and protect him.

The trip was decent, only problem was the cost of the trip which seems we higher than usual also on the site it said Dune bashing was included but it was actually not.

I would rate it 5/5 for Badr
And 3.5/5 for Viator

Regards,
Abhinav

I can absolutely recommend the trip! We had one of the best tour guide, who was very helpful and friendly to us and our child (3 years). Abdullah, thank you again.... also for answering so many questions ;). We learned a lot about the country. The desert is beautiful and the trip through the desert exciting. Wadi Bani Khali made a lot of fun ... also to swim through the caves. One day trip, and good time investment.

We had a fantastic day thanks to our guide (Fahad) who showed us the beautiful wonders of Oman. We saw the beautiful wadi bani khaled, saw an ancient city and how people used to live together with the reuins and a breathtaking desert area. The guide was able to give us more information on each area we came and stopped whenever we wanted (for extra photos bv or drinks). He really works on a custom basis. We would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks for the wonderful experience Fahad, we will never forget you and this trip!

I have written hundreds of reviews and take providing feedback seriously. I hope you find my review helpful.

Our tour guide, Salem, was the best part of our tour. I cannot say enough about him. Besides perfect English, he is warm, hospitable, helpful, knowledgeable, kind and professional. The price of the tour was only worth it due to his professionalism.

My wife enjoyed the Wahiba Sands much more than me. I’ve been living in the Middle East for years and this was her first trip. For me, seeing the desert is not exciting. Salem is very experienced in driving through the desert but for me, it was a little nerve wrecking as we did this in his Toyota SUV which is not designed for rolling over (God forbid). Again, my wife loved it. The stop at the Bedouin hut was also not very interesting to me… But some people may find it interesting.

After the trip to the desert, we drove to the Wadi Bani Khalid national park. I enjoyed this part of the trip immensely. The scenery is awesome and if you’re a little adventurous, you can swim to the ends of several sections, get out, hike a short distance and swim some more all while being surrounded by mountains. Just beautiful.

Honestly, you could just drive here yourself and save the money on a guide but we enjoyed the drive with Salem and talking to him about his country. It was nearly a 3 hour drive back to Muscat. I’m very glad we did the hot desert first followed by swimming at Wadi Bani Khalid park. Don’t do the opposite!

Thank you to Salem for a perfect day!

This day tour to Whadi Bani Khalid and Wahiba Sands was the third tour we did with Abdullah / Discover Mazoon Tours Oman and thanks to his professionalism, his great knowledge and his courteousness the tour was just as enjoyable as the other two (2. Half-day Muscat city tour and 3. Nizwa and Jebel Shams). All in all truly a most valuable experience. This time again we had Fahad with us, who is also very nice and friendly and really an excellent driver. The visit to the Wadi Bani Khalid oasis and the desert was truly overwhelming and spectacular. Everything went according to plan, Abdullah and Fahad did everything to accommodate our needs, so that we felt very well taken care of and looked after. We can most warmly recommend Abdullah and Fahad from Discover Mazoon Tours Oman to anybody.

Long day trip with a total of 6 hours drive. The visit of Wadi and Wahiba desert worth it.
The wadi is full of tourists, our guide just sit in a tourist restaurant and let us around, if you want to swim plan in advance and bring your stuff.
Then We head to the desert, the ride was nice on the dunes, even we didn’t go far , we stopped at a camel ride (Bedouin tent) which just last 5 min and we have to pay nearly 25usd for it and security measures with children were inexistant and people not
Motivated.
From the organisation point of you, I feel it s overpriced as the guide just resume as a driver, the car is not very comfortable. We were disappointed at the end that despite having spend over 450usd for a day trip, just after given a tip of nearly 15usd to the driver which was not justified, he tried to charge us for HIS headrest as he (Faad) said he was broken, a cheating trick which let us a bad experience and where we understood that Just our money was looked after.

Visit the places but plan carefully how and with who you go.

We enjoyed this tour so much!! Our guide, Salim, was friendly, knowledgeable and made the day special and fun! It was so interesting to see so much of Oman. The dune bashing, walking in the dunes and having a traditional tea in one of the desert camps was amazing. And the wadi was beautiful! We chose to have lunch in one of the local places and it was delicious and authentic. Thanks Salim!
