One of the Seven Wonders of the World, Chichen Itza is Mexico's most-visited archaeological site, a magnificent display of the advanced civilization of the Mayan people and the ceremonial center of the Yucatan Peninsula.

This amazing place is one of the most iconic wonders of the world, you would be able to walk through it's ancient grounds, the Observatory, the Sacred Cenote, the Ball Game and the Temple of the Thousand Columns.

It’s a powerful place that will give you a trip through time within its history, after the tour around the ruin we'll go to our next sacred visit!

Visiting two cenotes: Ikkil and Hubiku, you'll enjoy a swim in crystal clear and fresh waters of an incredible place formed by nature, also we will enjoy the buffet of typical dishes of the region.

After the regional buffet our last stop will be Valladolid where you'll have time to walk around this magic town, buy some local crafts and tasteful street food to end your adventurous day!

Let me be very clear here from the start, Mexico is an amazing place and Tulum has some of the most amazing natural sights you can see. The Mexican people are generally wonderful people as well.
But this place, Tulum is a place you visit once if you are very careful and very adventurous and never go back!
This is the worst tourist trap I have ever been to, and I have travelled all over the world to over 20 countries!
People there have become so desperate and greedy! The stories of police stopping tourists and doing random searches that make your money and valuables disappear are true, I saw it.
Literally everyone in Tulum overcharges you for everything. 4000 pesos for a day taxi with driver? Yup.
Booked a tour and the agent cheated us, charging additional fees that were not mentioned in the listing. They could not be reached by phone or email to find out pickup time, only contacting us last minute to let us know.
We were charged an additional 'environmental fee' of $27 US dollars per person. This I can accept., but what was not acceptable was the agent insisting on charging us this additional fee bringing the total extra to over $100 US. To make it worse, they added another $10 randomly when we got on the bus.
Be prepared to pay! But you may decide it's worth it. Maybe not the best place to go with kids...

Everything went really well, nice and funny tour guides, we had a great but long day! First you get a small packed lunch on the bus for the way to Valladolid, then you drive to the first cenote and then to the highlight Chichen Itza! It was extremely hot but our guides provided you with plenty of cold water! We would also recommend a hat and sunscreen! The guide on the tour at Chichen Itza gave us a lot of information. Then we went to the last destination, where you could have a delicious lunch and then cool off in the second cenote! The journey back is long but you are so tired from the day it is perfect for sleeping :)

It was a long day, and the transportation wasn’t too comfortable, but the trip was overall enjoyable and the tour guide had a lot of useful information.

It’s difficult to give a star rating because what you see is great but there are also negatives.

Chichen Itza is amazing. To do it justice I’d you’re really interested in the history etc you need longer and a proper guide talking you through the whole site. I would recommend going private or independently with an audio guide.
The two cenotes are great. Both very different. Valladolid is nice to visit.
The negatives… Transportation is not comfortable and you are in it for a looooong time! Very cramped and a little claustrophobic (I’m a small person too!)
It is a long day. From Tulum it was 15 hours until we returned at nearly 10pm. It was too long to really appreciate what you were experiencing which should have been Chichen Itza, instead that got lost a little.
The guides were great. Friendly and funny and tried to keep everything moving along but it was a multi-lingual tour so difficult to follow the story going from Spanish to English despite our guide doing his best and being very good.
It’s all personal preference but, for me, is recommend paying a bit extra to go private and not have to do quite so much all on one day. Then you can also spend longer at the highlight of the day, Chichen Itza.

The places visited are very beautiful. It's worth the distance. The snack served on the bus was generous. Even though I can't eat gluten, there were fruits and other things that I liked. The guide talked a lot. I wanted to sleep. And at the end he came by with a basket asking for a tip, which I found very unpleasant.

Tour guide hector aka “foca” was so fun and hilarious. It makes a BIG difference when the guide loves their job. And foca was great! Chichen was hot! Wish i had more water. The iced cold beer was a nice bonus coming back on the bus. It was fast paced but makes sense since there is so much to do. Cenotes were the most incredible from my whole trip that week. Absolutely gorgeous! 10/10 most memorable trip

Everything was a fast paced but was understandable cus there was so much to see. Great tour if you want to get a lil of everything. Like a sampler. Hit so many things on my bucket list. We had an amazing service thanks to guide Alan and our driver Adrian! Unfortunately we didn’t have a place in a bus so that guys helped us and we had even more comfortable seats in a car, so we could get to the cenotes and back home much faster. During the time in Chichen Itza our guide was very helpful and answered all of our questions. We really liked this experience!
