Take a combined full-day tour of Kulen Mountain, Beng Mealea and Tonle Sap lake to visit waterfalls, huge reclining Buddha statue, a thousand Lingas river, jungle temple and boat ride to floating village at the largest lake in southeast Asia. This private tour including the nature, temple, traditional stilt house village… so many different and amazing things to see and experience in one day, with a great tour guide.

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Phnom Kulen National Park
Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel at between 7:30 am to 8:00 am and take you to purchase a Phnom Kulen ticket and then we head to Phnom Kulen National Park for approximately 1 hour. This journey takes you through rural Cambodian villages, where you may observe locals going about their everyday lives and admire beautiful landscapes such as rice paddies and traditional dwellings. Stop off at the Palm Sugar Village and witness how Cambodian people make their own sugar to supply their families and villages. Afterward, we continue to the hilltop of Phnom Kulen, and our tour guide will take you to the most spectacular tourist attractions in the national park, including the largest and most beautiful waterfalls, the reclining Buddha sculpture, and the River of Thousand Linga. After all the crawling, stop for a picnic at a nearby waterfall, where you can enjoy grilled chicken with seasonal fruits and swimming at the waterfalls.
2. Beng Mealea
In the afternoon, we will have lunch at the local restaurant before heading to Beng Melea, the mysterious 12th-century temple in the middle of the jungle. This temple is heavily overgrown with vegetation, trees, lianas, and mosses. This temple is surrounded by a rainforest due to it being abundant for over 300 years. When it is not fully restored, many local and international tourists fall in love with the area.
3. Kampong Phluk Floating Village
Continue to Tonle Sap lake, known for its picturesque floating villages. We enjoy a boat ride and observe the local life in the villages with their floating farms, schools, markets, and Buddhist temples. Note: Tonle Sap Lake and Floating Village are best visited from July to February.
4. Siem Reap
Transfer from Tonle Sap lake to the hotel in Siem Reap city.

• The end of March to the end of June is a crucial time in all the floating villages in Siem Reap, as the water levels start to recede and present a unique opportunity for tourists to experience a new perspective. Although the picturesque landscape of the floating community may lose some of its charm during this time, visitors have a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of the villagers living in the dried season. While some boats may become stuck, and smaller canoes are unable to traverse the jungle forest, these challenges add to the thrill of the experience. The dry season in floating village of Kompong Phluk may not be the ideal time to visit for those seeking postcard-perfect photos, but it offers a chance to witness a facet of the village’s daily life that is not typically seen. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. We recommend visitors to embrace this rare chance to witness a different facet of this incredible destination and truly get a different taste of life in the village.
• Dress code: All visitors are not allowed to wear as shorts as you want for this experience. Please make sure that your knees and shoulders are covered.
• For small-group tour is limited to 10 participants to ensure a more personal experience from our guide.
• The valid pass of Angkor pass can be used to visit the Beng Mealea temple. So if you have still have it, please bring it with you for its visit. Otherwise, you have to buy a new Angkor pass of 1-day (US$37 per person)
• What should to bring: Insect repellent, sunscreen, sun hat.
• For lunch, there is a vegetarian option like fried rice vegetable with eggs and fried spring rolls, but no vegan option.

A good drive through the countryside with unexpected stops for palm cakes and of course the temple and floating village. David was very personable and gave a ton of information about Cambodian culture.

This trip was AMAZING. Truly eye-opening to learn about the Buddhist religion, Hinduism culture, and history of siem reap and J2. Also, my friend and I went back a couple days later to the palm cake stand because it was so yummy! 😍😍 I was truly impressed with our guide Makara, who shared his own story and I feel like we left the tour all as friends. Also, he is a GREAT photographer. I highly recommend this tour. It was the highlight of my trip.

I had an awesome day with Mony as a guide and Trea as driver.
Although I was the only one who participated the trip took place 👍🏼
We went to the most beautiful spots at Kulen Mountain, Mony explained everything perfectly in great English and he offered to take many pictures. Also the Beng Mealea and Tonle Sap were great to see, lunch was delicious as well with a huge choice in the restaurant. Overall I had the best day with these two guys!! Thanks!

Mr Raman our tour guide was highly knowledgeable and very informative, enhancing our experience and understanding of the culture past and present. We saw much more than we were anticipating on this tour. It's well worth booking if like us you're short on time and want to see more of Cambodia (further than the city, out into the countryside - very tranquil). We had a lovely swim at the waterfall and super lunch.
Mr Raman and his driver were a great team who were very considerate and took good care of us.
I would highly recommend this tour.

I had an amazing day trip!! Our guide Mony was sooo nice! Very knowledgeable, and had good vibes. He led the tour perfectly. The activities were super diverse and interesting. We saw such beautiful landscapes!

Kulen Mountain would be a place I would go back by myself if I had time to chill and read a book. Transportation was seamless. We arrived at our different spots when it was not crowded yet and we took great pictures. Beng Mealea was my favorite temple, even above the most visited ones in Siem Reap. The floating village was very unique! I enjoyed the little treats in the van, the lunch was delicious and the people on the tour were awesome as well!

Mony helped any time we had questions or a request. He took great pics for us and helped me get my online pass for the temple too.

This tour is a perfect blend and a colorful mix!! Highly recommend to everyone passing by Siem Reap to have an overview of nature, sacred and local life. I’m so glad I added two days to my itinerary and I included this ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our tour guide Raman was fantastic. He kept us well informed prior to trip , during trip and was very courteous. He explained about Cambodian culture , daily life , history etc. very well. He gave everyone in group enough time to explore , take photos , answering questions. Even driver was very nice , we were greeted with wet towels , cold water bottle and genuine smile after every point we visited through this journey. We saw so many places during this tour including beautiful sunset.
We really had good time and will definitely recommend this tour as it gave us so much perspective along with beautiful views

The tour was very good. We saw much of the beautiful countryside outside Siem Reap and our guide Sareik explained a lot about live in Cambodia, made sure we tried all the local specialties like palm cake or red banana and went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time. I really enjoyed the conversations about the Cambodian culture, the people and living in Cambodia with him very much. Thank you for your openness and sharing all your thoughts with us.
Just Beng Mealea is worth a trip but combined with Kulen Mountain, the waterfall, all the places we discovered around the waterfall and then the sunset at Tonle Sap Lake made the tour a unforgettable experience.

Absolutely amazing experience!!
We were just in Cambodia for 2 days and this tour has allowed us to maximize our time.
Mony, our guide, together with Rithy the driver, have showed us their amazing country and we’ve learned a lot on the history and culture. Highly recommended tour and best guide you can have, really interesting explanations in great English, btw.

I'm not a big fan of group excursion but this one was very wonderfull from begining to the end.
Throughout the day Makara our guide, shared his passion for his country by explaining us the cambodian culture, way of life and religion.
The 3 sites visited are wonderfull.
Once Alain, big thanks to Makara and M. Rithy (our driver) for this beautifull day
