This was an awesome experience, i highly recommend going on all parts of this two day tour, the first part was a little more "touristy" where you get to see and learn about some of the food and candies as well as traditional song, dance and fruit ☺️
I personally adored the home stay, i was a little iffy to begin with because no one had mentioned it too greatly in thr reviews.
It is a lot like "glamping" , but you are in someones home, it was amazing and i honestly wish id spent more nights like this rather than in a hotel room.
You get treated like family and get taught how to cook traditional foods as well as being able to eat fresh garnish and herbs grown on tbe property which you are welcomed to explore if you wish ☺️
The floating markets are really cool to witness but are definitely less for tourists and more for the local people to buy and sell produce, having said this i ate the best pineapple ive ever eaten off a boat with thr local chilli salt which i recommend trying too!! Dana/Ying was an awesome tour guide, she was knowledgeable and lots of fun and helpful to get us more accustomed with the culture ☺️

It was a great 2 day trip. Our guide Stark brought lots of expertise, kindness and a good sense of fun to the trip.
My highlights were the boat ride, the cookery class and the bike ride. We did this tour over Tet, and whilst we were dissapointed that the floating market wasn't operating as usual, our guide Stark brought us to the local 'land' market, guided us round and helped us make a few purchases. It was a really great experiance and a good insight into local life.
Our homestay was basic but comfortable and our guide made sure we had everything we needed.
Massive thank you again to Stark for expert facilitation, he helped set a really good atmosphere that made the group relax and have fun together.

Dana Duyen was a very knowledgeable, funny and friendly guide. Her English was excellent and she really helped us to understand the history of Vietnam.

We experienced the cheeky monkeys (and didn't get our glasses and hats stolen..like other tourists!!!), fed the crocodiles and visited the mangrove jungle war museum.

It was a lovely day followed by a tasty lunch.

Thank you Dana for a great day!

Dana Duyen is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge and insight. She pointed out little details along the way and made it a truly personal experience. The food was like a banquet every time and the home stay hosts were very welcoming. We went for a bike ride around the village but be mindful that the bikes may not be in the best condition and the path is quite narrow so be careful around locals and the occasional motorbike. The boat ride on the Mekong to the floating market was also very interesting and a great way to see a different aspect of life in Vietnam.
