This was a local tour and it was awesome! The driver and guide Micaias was super nice and knowledgeable, we did so much in a day and love the fact we could also do the Coloradas with the pink lake as it was beautiful! On each site you can hire a guide if you want more specific information which I did and it was very interesting so make sure to bring enough cash for the tips and guides if you want for Ek Balam and Coloradas. I loved it and I had such a great time! So many beautiful photos and videos - Micaias also took some with his GoPro that you get at the end :) highly recommend it.

Fue genial! Lo pasé súper bien con Micaias! Sabía un montón sobre la civilización Maya, hablamos mucho y aprendí un montón y hicimos muchas cosas en un día ! Me encantó!
I highly recommend it! We did so much in one day and loved the fact we went to the Coloradas as a lot of tours don’t go there! So beautiful, I loved it. You just need to make sure you have enough pesos to get yourself a tour guide for Ek Balam and for tips as they really deserve it :)

El Balam + Cenote was very nice. The boat trip on Rio Lagartos is also good, but you only see the Flamingos from a mile away iand you need binoculars (provide). Coloradas is not worth the long drive.

I cannot recommend this tour enough! We had such an amazing tour and the guides were super friendly. Viator hires a local tour guide which were students at the University. They definitely made this trip worth it. If we visited these sites on the tour on our own, it would definitely take us more than a day. With the tour we were able to visit all of the sites and enjoyed our time at each place. All four sites are a must see as well. As first time users of Viator, we are extremely happy with our choice to book this tour.

The Río Lagartos and the cenote were the highlights for me. As I don’t have a car it would have been impossible to see all these things in one day and my guides were super helpful.

Communication/reservation via WhatsApp worked perfectly. They looked for us super punctually (they arrived 5' early and notified us by WhatsApp) at our AirBnB.
The driver was very friendly, he drove very well and above all very safely. The light breakfast was a sandwich, a banana and a juice, all very delicious. The best thing was that the driver knew a lot about the places we visited and could answer all our questions. Regarding the places visited:
Río Lagartos (1500 pesos/boat): wonderful! We saw flamingos, pelicans, manta rays and we even petted the crocodile Pancho. We also highly recommend the Mayan bath. Leaves the skin softer than any peel. The only thing we didn't like was that the captain of the boat got too close to the flamingos to make them fly. We were already a few meters from the animals, it seemed unnecessary to bother them further.
Salineros de las coloradas (320 pesos/pers): looks very nice but is very expensive for what they offer. We walked for 15 minutes and came back and the guide didn't tell us almost anything/couldn't answer basic questions. But it was still worth seeing and our driver later explained everything to us (again; better driver!!!)
Ek balam: we skipped it because the day before we already went to Chichen Itza and we preferred to spend more time in the cenote.
Cenote (350 pesos/pers): once again a marvel. The price includes the buffet restaurant, swimming in the cenote (the best thing after a long, hot day), and tequila and chocolate tastings.
After the cenote the driver took us to the door of the house again which was very pleasant since we were very tired from so many impressions.
In total we had an incredible experience and I recommend this private chauffeur service to everyone.

My driver Olivario was exceptionally knowledgeable about the Maya culture of Yucatan. Also very friendly. The Xentour car was spotlessly clean. A very early breakfast at 6:30 am was more than welcome. The most memorable part was the boat trip in Rio Lagartos with Don Angel as captain. A funny man who showed us crocodiles and flamingos and even a horseshoe crab. The Maya site Ek Balam was wonderful. The site is still being excavated and repaired. The cenote Hubiku is one of the best I have seen. The buffet lunch there was very tasty and well prepared with afriendly staff.

What can I say. It's fun!!!. We had to pay for entry at every location, so carry extra cash. The trip last about 10 hours, from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
