Messina is a city that overlooks the sea and has a strong bond with this element. Seeing the city from the sea means really getting to know it. Visitors will leave with a boat directly from the port of Messina and will coast the entire city, until arriving at the two fishing villages: Ganzirri and Torre Faro. Here it will be possible to go down to visit the town or take a swim.

I thought the information about the felucca fishing boats was interesting. The boat was cool and the family was kind and wonderful. Unfortunately, we were unable to catch any swordfish that day. It was still a pleasant experience. My only suggestion would be to get more comfortable seating with cushions and backs. Stools for a three hour trip are uncomfortable.

Walked to 3 meeting sites, called operator 3 times, no tour without a cruise boat I was told when I got there. Very disappointed

Antonella accompanied us on this wonderful journey, to discover this ancient fishing technique, as a true popularizer.
It was a 360 degree dive into the magical (and mythological) Strait of Messina. Fishing, history, mythology, environmentalism, protection of the sea, politics. We chatted amiably and discovered many curiosities about a unique place in the world and about the felucca fishing technique that few fishermen can now pass on.
An experience that not only fills your heart with emotions and love for this wonderful land but reminds you of how much our behavior on land is linked to the health of our sea.
In short, infinite congratulations to the Mancuso sisters and their working group who work every day to make this ancient tradition, unique in the world, known with passion and professionalism!
