An easy, 30km ride, suitable for families and leisure riders. We ride directly from our base, just outside Ronda, so you are immediately on quiet tracks and roads.
You will pass through varied rural Andalucian countryside, including vineyards and arable farmland, along old Roman routes and undulating trails. In Setenil, we see where many of the houses, bars and restaurants are a unique type of “cavehouse", built directly into the limestone rock of the river valley walls. You can enjoy a refreshment stop in one of these cafes before we meet you with the minibus to drive back up the hill to Ronda.

My husband Johnny & I went on a morning E-bike ride 30 km to Setinel de las Bodegas on a lovely sunny day in May with Wayne from Hike & Bike The Sierras and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
Heather & Wayne picked us up from the Ronda Station in their van & transferred us with the E-bikes on board to a good starting point out of town. We were given the guiding for the morning, transfers from & back to Ronda Station plus helmets, water bottle & padded seat covers were part of the deal which was great!
I am currently not as fit as my husband so decided to finish my ride at Setinel after we all stopped for refreshments at a bar there so Heather kindly picked me & my bike up. Johnny was keen to do something a bit more challenging so continued on via a different route back to Ronda with Wayne - then Heather & I met them back in a Ronda. Johnny loved the much more hilly & faster route back with Wayne - which was quite a nice contrast to our much easier & more leisurely ride out! We both were more than happy with that! :)
We both really enjoyed the E-bike trail experience & would highly recommend both Wayne & Heather as both are very knowledgeable about the routes in and around Andalusia and we felt in very safe hands with them. Heather & Wayne were also both great company so we felt very relaxed and we had a great many laughs with them throughout the day! Would definitely love to do this again another time!

We loved our ride to Setinil. Wayne and Heather did a fabulous job of plotting out our route and knowing I hadn't ridden in a while and it might start raining, made wonderful recommendations to shorten the ride. And when it started pouring rain, they even offered to pick us up at our destination. I have already started recommending them to others we know who will be in Ronda soon. Thank you, thank you, thank you for one of the highlights of our trip!

Loved this bike ride out from Ronda to Setenil de la Bodegas. Fantastic trip with 95% all off road along cycle paths with some amazing downhill sections too! My partner hadn't been on a bike in years but he managed it really well. Such a different thing to do. Our guide was very informative as we went along, very friendly. The bikes were in great condition with front suspension and gel saddles making it a pretty comfortable ride. It was great to see Setenil de la Bodegas, stopped for a coffee at the end too. Such a nice trip, can't recommend it enough!

We did the ride to Setinil on mountain bikes with Wayne as our guide. The bikes were in great shape. A fantastic tour thru the country side . Wayne modified the route to add an extra village and extra distance at our request.

I did two MTB trips with Wayne (Ronda-Setenil and Grazalema). Both at moderate level. Quite manageable with some technical fun as well. The routes were well chosen by Wayne! I believe he has spent a lot of time in the past years to scope the best routes. It was worth it! I will certainly book again with Hike&Bike, next time I am in the region.
