We were taken on a bus to shell ha instead of going directly to the tour we booked
We were delayed almost 2.5 hours and had to get up early for nothing

They basically wasted almost 3 hours of our vacation by cramming us on a bus not even going to where we had booked

When we finally got on the tour we had booked we were exhausted.
The driver almost had two accidents rushing from place to place and they let kids do the tour who were more interested in talking among themselves than the guests.

We could have had more time at the tours we and booked but this was a terrible tour.

When finally getting back at almost midnight
That would be 7 am to 12 midnight

The driver missed the turn in and I had to walk all the way up a hill to my hotel

Tour was a disaster

so when booking this Tour...NOWHERE does it say that you will be picked up at 7am, bused over to a DIFFERENT resort, WAIT! and then bused over to the correct bus! WASTER 3 HRS on bus ride, WAITING and then finally get to the first site to see. BAD TIME MANAGEMENT! AGAIN....WASTED 3 HRS that could have been used to visit the sites, after everything was done...this tour ended for me at 11:45pm! NOWHERE does it say that this will take so long! and you also need to put in BIG PRINT!!! that there is a " charge " at the end of the Tour, LOTS of people on the bus were VERY upset as I was about having to pay extra? Make a BIGGER note of this so people KNOW!!! this will happen at the end of the Tour! TERRIBLE!
WILL NEVER use you guys again........I WOULD like someone to contact me and we NEED to talk about a refund or a 50% refund!

I bought this tour for my sister's birthday. I checked and double-checked again to make sure that she could be picked up in Tulum and still go to playa del carmen and be dropped back off in tulum. Well, that did not happen and after several phone calls to Mexico we finally got her dropped off back in Tulum but she missed the playa del carmen part. I was then told I would receive a 50% refund which has not happened and I keep getting blown off. This was a tour on July 8th. I was told to contact Expedia and they also stated that the company needs to issue the refund. The only good part about this tour is she enjoyed the part she actually received.

The only reason they are getting a one start is because this so won't allow me to choose anything less. We chose this tour because it offered hotel pickup, only to find out the night before that they would not pick me up from hotel but from a meeting at I wouldn't be able to get to. I requested a refund due to not being able to get there and being notified after the 24 hour cancellation period of the pickup spot, and was told they could only offer a reschedule with an additional fee. Super disappointed because the reviews were great but communication was not good and pickup information should be more clear.

We had such a great time! My husband and I did the tour on my actual birthday! Most of the guided part or information about the places we visit was in Spanish so my husband and I tried to piece together the information. It was not all translated in English as most of the people on the bus spoke Spanish so at times we would feel we did not really get the jist of what was said.
It was a very long day but it was well worth our time and the price was really well worth it as well. The people in the bus are all friendly and even sang a birthday song for me.

Guide commentary was great at Tulum, but non-existent at Coba which was long, hard and HOT! Playa del Carmen stop was unnecessary

We booked this tour during our trip to Cancun, and when we were booking it through another website (Viator) it didn't give an exact time specification- so here is your time specification- pick up at 7 am, drop off at about 9 pm. So a 14 hour day, but for the price it was well worth it.

Our tour started with getting picked up from our hotel (Playa Mujeres), and then made our way to downtown Cancun where we waited for the tour buses to come and get us.

Once we all boarded, they asked us if we spoke Spanish or English, there were 4 English speakers on the bus versus the 22 or so Spanish speaking. The tour did have more Spanish it seemed, but as a person who can understand Spanish, the Spanish that was spoken was basically the same as the English.

The tour started off by heading to Tulum, which was about an hour and a half drive, for the most part everyone took a nap, which was perfect after everyone got up so early for a tour. We had about 2 hours at Tulum, to explore and see the ruins, our guide for this portion, Raymundo, was amazing, he knew his history and explained in very good detail about Tulum, and the difference between Tulum and Chichen Itza. We had about a half hour or so after he took us around to explore more on our own, which we could visit the beach, or walk around the ruins more.

After Tulum we had to get back on the bus and we drove about 15 minutes away to the Cenotes, where we had about an hour in the cenotes, before we were taken back to the enterance for lunch, which was a wide range of food, from tacos, to spaghetti, to fruit, etc. The food was all delicious, the only complaint is that you have to buy water, or pop of whatever you want to drink (the site says alcoholic beverages are not included but it is all beverages).

Next we loaded back and made our way to Coba, which was about another hour and a half to two hour drive from where we were, when we got to Coba, we were a bit pressed for time, so you need to rent a bike or the Mayan taxi, regardless which you choose you will have plently of time to climb the ruin and explore other parts of the ruins.

When you get done with the ruins, stop in the small convience store outside the enterance and grab a cold water, or two, they are significantly cheaper there than inside the ruins ($1.50 outside versus $5 inside).

Next up we loaded back up in the bus to head to Playa Del Carmen, which was about a two and a half hour drive from Coba, when we got there we had about an hourish to explore, see the beach, get food, shop, etc. We opted to explore, grab some ice cream and check out the beach. I would definately not recommend swimming in Playa Del Carmen, the sea weed problem is massive, and chances are you do not want to swim with a bunch of sea weed, if you do, go for it, but it is pretty bad.

After Playa Del Carmen we made our way back to downtown Cancun where we were all split up into our shuttles back to the hotel.

Overall this was a really good tour, the guides were great, funny, and very knoweldgable. If you are looking to not spend an entire day out from your resort than this is not the tour for you, if you are looking to hit other sites in the Yucatan Peninsula, than this is the trip for you for the most bang for your buck.

This tour gave us the opportunity to visit all the important landmarks of this region in one day. Juan Carlos, Ivan and Roberto are a great team. They took care of us anticipating our needs. Their knowledge of the region and the Mayan culture made our tour vary enjoyable and worth it.

Thank you!

This is a long day and like other reviews take a change of cloths of after swimming in cenote, cheap flip-flops for the shower area as big dirty puddle I. The middle that is not cleaned out. Tulum was stunning, but unfortunately it is extremely hot and no shade unless you get under a tree (but then you don't see anything), This is a short walk around really as all can be seen I. A few mins as you can not walk through the ruins so for me just the right amount of time spent here.
Coba is beautiful you can hight bikes or a Myan taxi which they will gladly ride you their in the heat if you don't fancy walking (obviously this is at a cost) but for me and my little one this was worth it.
Unfortunately the stop for food was not brilliant my little one ate very little pork and nothing else, I could only eat the chicken soup which is left on the bones and rice (not bad but no enough food for the kind of day and travelling involved) we did take rolls and cheese from the hotel) don't take the cheese 😜.
Cenote was fantastic, be warned its a long walk down so if you struggle it's a hard walk back up. The swimming is so refreshing but freezing. Final stop was playa Carmen, you get a sticker to use the restrooms but think these are more for show to the sellers to hassle you, so hide them in my opinion. Truefully it was a waste of time going here as you only get about 40mins so no time for a nice restaurant though the ice cream is great (not bad price) we only got chance to walk up and back before getting back on the coach. The plus package was worth it as you got water, beer and soft drinks before getting back on the coach and when getting off at coba - more needed at Tulum. But still take some yourselve you will definitely need it.

The sites were all beautiful and our guides very knowledgeable, however we felt that our time was not used very wisely. From pick up to drop off it was about 16 hours. We spent approximately 1 hour at each site, and A LOT of in between and idle time. The sites were amazing and definitely worth seeing, but it was just too long a day. I wish we could've skipped Playa Del Carmen (at the end) because we were exhausted and there was nothing unique there (no playa, we were left at the strip, which is basically like the Cancun strip). Also bring small Bill's because although the tour guides sell stuff (biodegradable sunscreen and repellent) they will not return your change ($10 in our case...). We wanted to be eco-conscious towards the water of the cenote, but we had already applied regular sunscreen and repellent at the hotel prior to leaving (so I'd advise purchasing those biodegradable products online prior to your trip- you won't fib b.d them in a regular U.S. store). In the cenote, you must shower before entering to wash off products but they were out of soap. I'd recommend taking soap, towels and flip flops that you can put in a plastic bag after swimming and a full change of dry clothes because the facilities to shower and change at the cenote have very little privacy, they are quite rudimentary and dirty water puddles up in the changing area so it's quite acrobatic, if you have small children or elderly you might want to skip the hassle.
Also the lunch was delicious and satisfying,(rice, chicken and pulled pork) but it's not a buffet, so if you have picky eaters with you, you may need to pack a sandwich.
Also, even if you choose the plus tour, make sure to carry water at all times, and maybe a change of shirt (you will sweat profusely) and if like me, you are a mosquito magnet, you will have to re-apply repellent constantly.
If in doubt about anything throughout the tour, the tour guides are very patient, kind and knowledgeable.
