Avoid Giovani who ripped us off . We originally agreed a price of 35 euros each for four of us . We drove 5 minutes to the street market where we walked up and down the market back to to pick up point . We were the driven another 5 minutes to the church where we were told we had a “special deal “ with reduced entrance . We were in the church for about 15 minutes when Giovani came to the exit to say we had taken a long time . When exiting the church we were told that we had to split into 2 tactics but not told why . The second driver eventually explained that the police were around and that Giovani was “breaking the rules” by having 4 people in the tuctuc. We stopped at the corner of the 4 statues and were told the time was up but we could e tend the time by paying a total of 100 euros each , we reluctantly agreed and were driven to the next stop , a small park with the giant fig tree where we had 5 minutes . We were then driven 5 minutes to the cathedral which was closed and told time was up ! At this point we were asked for 120 euros each ! We argued with Giovani but at this point several other tuctuc started to gather and as two of our party were female we ended up paying . Please avoid .

Terrible experience!!!! We agreed on a flat rate which corresponded to 20 euros each, there were 3 of us, in the end it became 120 euros each. We didn't see anything different. We went to Mondello and Monreale.
Giuseppe, that's the name of the driver of the bee, as soon as he put us down he completely changed his attitude, becoming rude and rude. A real scam!!!! Be wary of these tours or inform yourself very well before leaving.
However, in any case I strongly advise against it as Monreale and Mondello can be easily reached by HopOnHopOff type bus for 15 euros per person!!!!!!
Among other things....everything strictly in black, and when we asked for the receipt it got even more altered!!!!!!

Absolutely not recommended!!! The price is not the one agreed at the beginning, but quadrupled... The driver (Giuseppe) seems nice and friendly, until he demands an exorbitant payment that was not agreed upon, or rather, agreed upon but not respected.
Please don't be fooled too!!!

Excellent experience, definitely recommended. Mariano welcomed us at the cruise terminal and showed us his city in a pleasant way with detailed descriptions. We also managed to see Palazzo dei Normanni, the Palatine chapel and the Cathedral as well as taking a walk in the Ballarò market

I'm traveling with my elderly father. That's why I'm always looking for guided tours. Tuk Tuk Siracusa met all of my expectations. Very nice, friendly, inexpensive, helpful. Great. Next time we'll do the big tour.

Announced 80€ per hour (which is already enormous for a tour of the city which is already accessible on foot), the driver does not speak to us, is on FaceTime with his friends, pretends to be nice to us and drives dangerously.
He lets us have lunch somewhere where we have to wait a long time to charge us more money than expected. Announced €80 per hour but paid €160 because 1h30 instead of 1h. He did not want to negotiate €40 instead of €80 for the extra half hour.
Then he follows us to the bank and forces us to pay without negotiating.
Never take these taxis, it’s theft.

When you only have one day to visit Palermo, the ape taxi is the best solution. Francesco, an expert guide, tells the story but also the life of the people of Palermo. We chose to visit the places of Falcone and Borsellino told by those who were there at that time. A beautiful experience. The Ape ride is lively and fun to avoid the summer heat by visiting practically everything in just two and a half hours. A tour that remains in the heart and worth the expense. A fantastic tour of Palermo if you have small children who can’t walk the distance. There was a recent negative review and I believe you should ignore it. Francesco was great and used google translate to explain sites to us in English.
This is a must do if you’d like a quick tour of all the key spots in Palermo.
