Your private 5 hrs tour will start from your hotel or your cruise ship on the afternoon.
We will drive along the coastal line of Athens, passing by Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Anavyssos, Voula, Palaia Fokaia and Sounio. A scenic driving giving a great opportunity for gorgeous pictures. During our way to Sounio, we will stop at the Lake of Vouliagmeni, which maintains a constant temperature of 24 Celsius the whole year round.
After that you will visit the temple of Poseidon, God of the Sea, a temple that even Lord Byron admired. This is a perfect combination of the history and the amazing view of the southern coast of Athens. Finally get ready to taste the famous Greek cuisine in a traditional Athens restaurant or tavern.
It’s up to you to choose from a variety of flavors of the world-famous Greek dishes.

We had a lovely time. Our driver was with us for 6 days. He picked us up from the airport and from there we went to Nafplio. We enjoyed our daily tours from there and had the flexibility to see the sights that we were interested in and even had a wonderful afternoon tasting local wines

Mr Lavaros was absolutely amazing.. professional, friendly, informative and just the best gentleman.
He was most helpful and kind taking us around Athens and explaining all the stops. The little things along the way was what made it special and memorable for us.

This was my second tour with Mr Lazarus in Spring ‘22 and it did not disappoint. A beautiful late afternoon ride to this ancient site with stunning views along the way. Gorgeous sunset dinner in a charming taverna by the sea.

Golden Greece Tours stands out due to the genuine quality of people who work there. Our driver, Lazarus, was kind and likable, and a great help with both the tour of Sounion and transfers to and from the airport. Our guide for Sounion, Costas, is truly a saint. Truly one of the most interesting, passionate, kind people I've ever met. Costas told excellent stories about Greek history and modern Greece, and I highly recommend you ask him any questions you have about Greece. Costas is a magical conversationalist, and just someone that makes your day better by being there. The trip to Sounion was a highlight of our trip due to the incredible people at Golden Greece Tours. The stop at the seafood restaurant on the way back from the Temple of Poseidon was off the charts.
Our driver, Tony, was so informative of local events and historical information that it really completed our tour of Athens to understand more about the area

We actually used this group both for the tour to Cape Sounion, and for transfers to and from the airport. The drivers were all great and got us everywhere on time. The trip to Cape Sounion was lovely and the driver was very flexible about what we wanted to do. At our request he suggested a great seaside restaurant overlooking the ruin afterwards. Highly recommend.

Lazarus has helped us from beginning to end in Athens and drove us around several times. We enjoyed his company, he's a good driver, knowledable and just an overall very sweet guy :)
