Rome's Vineyard Symphony: Countryside Winetasting Experience

Driver made our experience unpleasant. Showed up with an attitude, not flexible, and impatient. This was a private tour so only our group was getting picked up. One of our group members got lost before pickup and the driver was very impatient, breathing hard, and telling us he cannot wait. We also asked him to circle the block since he was upset about being parked on the street too long but he refused and said it was too much trouble. Our friend gets there about 15 minutes after the pick up. All is good and we are on the way. We get there only for him to sit in the van and wait for us to finish the tour. He could have just said, this is a timed experience so the longer we wait, the shorter time you'll have at the tour (especially since he was just sitting in the car waiting. It's not like he had to leave to go pick up anyone else). Aside from that, the winetasting experience was great once we had some wine in us to shake off everything with the driver.

The winery was beautiful and the woman running the tour was very congenial and knowledgeable about wine. I thought the entire process seemed rushed and was not a good value for the price paid.

Luca is amazing
Terrible driver from the hotel to the winery-rude awful driver!!
Luca made up for it - he made us feel like family sharing wine. Wonderful!!!

Our driver was fabulous. Once we got to the winery, we were greeted by the owner and the sommelier Eleanora. She took us on a tour of the winery and explained the process they use to make their wines. We then headed inside to taste 3 different wines with food pairings. The wines were over the top and the venue was beautiful!

After confusion on where to pick us up at our hotel, driver finally found us, and it was a long hour ride out of the city of Rome. But once we arrived at the winery, it was gorgeous. We went to the winery of Santa Benedetta. We were met by the owners son, Luca, who was absolutely amazing. He was knowledgeable, accommodating, and very professional. The wine and the food pairings were incredible. The downside was the drive back, our driver, Mauro said that we were 15 minutes late and he may a very hostile drive back to Rome!!!! I highly recommend the winery tour, be careful if you get Mauro as a driver!!!

The whole experience was amazing. The wine was so good. The whole presentation.of the wine tasting was amazing. We had so much fun. Would recommend to anyone!!

Fantastic experience so close to Rome! We completely enjoyed the experience and the driver went out of his way to talk about places we haven’t been and even drove us around to see some! And I’m not talking about the six hotspots in Rome! This is our third time in Rome so we have already seen those.

The most enjoyable one on one experience with an old historical scenic Italian winery. The owner and sommelier were extremely pleasant. Our driver, Patrick was very informative and kind! Would highly recommend.

We were picked up by a wonderful driver who was so friendly and had so much knowledge. It was a beautiful escape from the warm city with delicious wines and some great samples of food. A nice break and a lovely day
