Great trip. waters were flowing gently with gentle rapids. The experience at great northern resort was outstanding everyone was friendly and helpful. Jazz was our guide was knowledgeable of the area, the animals. She offered up everyone a swim which I told her I was going to stay in the boat as there was no way she could pull me back in. I was wrong she drug me back in with no problem. If we had time she had us convinced to take the whitewater trip next. So maybe next trip.
She engaged the group in conversation to make the trip more enjoyable. We spotted deer along the bank and an Eagle flying above us down the river. Would highly recommend this trip to anyone.

The staff are very helpful, friendly and patient. They made us feel welcome and safe.
The view is beautiful all of the easy down the river. There are a few spots with some very manageable rapids (which we will be telling our friends were ginormous) but for the most part it was very peaceful.
At one point we had the option to take a quick dip in the water. It was a hot day, so the concept was excellent. I don’t handle cold well but it was refreshing (in hindsight, bitter cold at the time).
We saw a bald Eagle flying along the river, which was amazing (we don’t see them in Georgia).
They have other trips, so I would definitely recommend checking them out.

Knowledgeable & personable guides created a safe pleasant experience. We appreciated the tips on footwear, bringing our own water and snacks and keeping us posted on timing during the trip.
It would have been more efficient to have someone other than the guides cook our meal so we didn't have to wait so long on a very hot day.
Lockers for our stuff would also have been helpful.
Just the right boat trip length; be prepared for a 15 minute school bus ride each way.
We did get a litttle wet so quick dry shorts or swim bottoms would be advisable, especially for a bathroom break along the way.

The scenic float was absolutely beautiful! I was able to get in the water for a quick swim which was nice. Our tour guide Grace was friendly and kind. I highly recommend this activity!
