Mouton-Rothschild, Latour, Haut-Brion... These famous names may be familiar to you. These châteaux are all among the most prestigious in the world, and are part of the famous 1855 classification, the oldest classification for French wines, known worldwide and commissioned by Napoleon 3 that year.
But the Médoc is also: small family estates, "Crus Bourgeois", vineyards as far as the eye can see, local and delicious chocolate production...
We will visit 2 prestigious Grands Crus Classés, as well as a family estate and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
